Yes. But it shatters not because it could not maintain the Restriction, but because the Restriction is maintained no matter what, but they wanted to receive the Light, and this causes the Shattering.

Seemingly there is a situation where the Upper One makes a mistake in giving the child what he wants, but the child is not ready for it. The child makes a mistake. He receives, thinking he can bestow by this, but it turns into reception in order to receive. As soon as he had the intention to receive, he shattered. And the Upper One, Bina gets canceled, for passing Light down that the lower one wasn’t ready for.
There’s a whole process to how this atrocity happens. However, there is a beautiful reason for it, revealed only later.
The writings of Baal HaSulam and Rabash are the ones we need in our generation. Through them, you have everything else in an order that is conducive to drawing the Reforming Light that brings the correction of the soul.

There isn’t a direct correlation between what you perceive in your life and your Kabbalah studies. And generally you have not been studying long enough for there to be any relationship between the two. Everything is according to the balance or lack thereof of a person with the Upper Force. As much as the Light corrects a person, they correct this relationship to the Upper Force, which includes all of nature, everything before you.
Exactly right. There is an order of correction, and heavier souls depend on the correction of lighter ones.

They raise a request to AVI. They want to receive the Light in their place. Because they think they will be able to receive the Light in order to bestow. They end up being wrong. That leads to the Shattering. That’s why now we’re in a state where such reception is no longer allowed. Meaning, I would like to receive goodness as I am. I’m not allowed to. I’m allowed to rise to the Upper World, meaning to become like it in quality, and there I can receive the Light. That’s the correction you might be alluding to, that in other states there is not just a request for the Light to come down to me where I am, as I am, but rather the lower has to clothe the Upper – meaning attain Equivalence of Form with the AHP of the Upper.
