Magsy KapoorParticipantHi, Gianni,
My question is about annulment. Is it useful at all to annul before each other or should we just annul towards the bigger goal outside of us? An interesting point was brought up in our ten at the noon lesson, that if I annul towards the friends, I can take on their desires, but that would require that at least one friend is not annulled so that there can remain someone to actually want something, otherwise, if we all annul, on what point are we connecting? But if we all annul together, not towards each other’s desires bit towards our big goal, that makes more sense to me because then we have a point outside the individual to connect around. So in light of this, what is the benefit to the work in annulling to the individual friends?

Magsy KapoorParticipantIt is something that the creature experiences and calls “the Creator” while already in the path of Ahishena? Or is it something that works on everyone separately, regardless of how it is being felt? I guess what I am trying to ask is, is private Providence a form contact with the Creator? Because it sounds more intimate, the Creator concerning Himself and arranging for the individual, but then I remember reading that the Creator doesn’t “see” individuals so I am confused.
Magsy KapoorParticipantDear Gianni,
Can you please explain what is Private Providence?
Thank you ❤️
Magsy KapoorParticipantDear Gianni,
My question is about Shamati 22, which was discussed in the morning and noon lessons today. I need some things to be further digested for me, because it’s giving me pain that I don’t understand it.
What does it mean that there is a judge and a judgement? What is this state where you have awareness of that? Isn’t this state achieved when you already have done something above reason? So then you can see how when you are working in bestowal you are progressing towards Dvekut and when you are working in reception, you are punished with separation. And then the awareness of judge and judgement comes. But what is the “learning that leads to action” before you have ever done even a single act above reason, before you are aware of the judge and judgement? The article makes it sound like if I study with the intention to grasp the awareness of judge and judgement within reason, then this is called Torah Lishma, but how can something be Lishma when it’s very goal is to fill the vessel of reason?
Thank you ❤️
