Our growing egoism that has left us feeling separated from others and everything around us leads to pain. Pain is there to wake us up to see that the path we’re on isn’t right, that we need to correct the way we’re living.
We need to connect with people who are also willing to correct their desires, and then persistently seek the Light to help us and teach us how to bestow.
Material pleasures get neutralized. We need to shift our focus towards pleasures that are not of this world. Being fulfilled by endless Love is the goal.
Intentions focus our attention and actions, so by examining my intentions I can learn why I do the things I do, and whether I should redirect my energy and actions. Intentions reveal the state of one’s heart.
To give to others thinking and feeling that the source of this giving is an endless abundance and it is what the Creator wants us to have. It is not I who’s giving (I don’t really have anything to give) but everything comes from above.
