  • Robert,
After you complete these courses and go to the graduate environment, you’ll have the opportunity to work with other kabbalists and work directly with your ego like that.
Now, there are two things.  First, arrange your corporeal life.  If you have something that gives a negative emotional reaction, is it a beehive in your kitchen?  So get rid of it already!  Is it a difficult situation with a family member, so learn how to communicate better and how to connect with different kinds of people.
Secondly, study well.  You are now in a very important phase of your study where you are learning the fundamentals that everything else will be built on.  You don’t yet understand how these fundamental building blocks will appear over and over again throughout the whole study.
    Good luck,

    Robert,
In the wisdom of kabbalah we get used to these seeming paradoxes.
It depends on what you are talking about.
Spiritual phenomenon exist all at once.
When we are discussing things from our perspective, they happen one at a time.  Through the wisdom of kabbalah you begin to expand your perception and sense the world in connected, integral way.
When we learn that there is no reality outside of us, it means that all of reality is only light, it is felt to me according to my inner qualities.

    Robert,
The physical senses do not perceive spirituality.
Imagine that you have an old balance scale where you put the object you want to weigh on one side and lead weights on one side until the scale balances.  So you are not actually perceiving the object, but from doing something on the opposite side, you can begin to discern qualities of the object.

    Curtis,
Of course these things don’t just fit neatly on a shelf in our mind somewhere.
We are after all discussing spiritual phenomenon before the big bang, before the creation of any matter.
But from what the ARI writes to us, we try to adhere to what he writes to us, we try to be in the light of what he passes to us, that in that light, we will illuminate and understand and feel who we are and what is happening to us, and even more, where we are going.
We read that there is the light of Ein Sof, this means all of reality is filled equally with that endless light, everywhere at all time.
And when upon His simple will, came the desire to create the worlds…

….as soon as He had the thought (of course there are questions here, how can the Creator have a thought, what is a thought of the Creator? He didn’t have it before and then He had it? Many questions, but we flow with the text which speaks of things that are beyond time and space)…as soon as He had that thought to bestow, it requires that there will be something to receive what He wants to give.  That alone caused a place to become empty of His light.  In the middle of the endless light, He withdrew Himself so that there would be a place that He could fill and delight.

    Joel,
There is no reason to say that it is not what you say it is.
In that relationship between you two, you will be able to presence of the Creator between you.
As you study, you will see how even what you feel now opens up more and more and you understand and feel what you are coming into contact more and more.

    Joel,
Of course the test is not about mastering the topic to advance, it is an exercise in this virtual environment to become more intimate with the material we are studying.
    Good luck, step by step.
    Everything is working,
    Seth@KabU
