Preparation Question: Congratulations on progressing through the intermediary stages of your Kabbalah learning by staring this new course! Since the wisdom of Kabbalah deals with developing our precious eternal part—the soul—it is important to take a moment to note your expectations from this stage of your journey, and later check back and see what aligned with or differed from your expectations, and how you might’ve changed in the process: What do you hope to get out of this course you’re now starting?

What I hope to get out of this course is, I guess, more input, more Light, so to speak, that I can take with me and then see what it does inside me over the following days and weeks. I tend to take these courses quite slowly. Apparently life usually has other plans for me, so sometimes one “week” of the course takes me a month. But I actually kind of like that, because the material stays with me for a while.

That was also my experience with the previous course. I would take in a lot of things, and then they would somehow sit inside me and bring up questions, or I would notice new desires and thoughts appearing in my corporeal life. I don’t always know immediately what to make of them, and sometimes it gets a little messy in there, but somehow I feel like I need that.

I don’t really know whether to call it my brain or my intuition, but there is something in me that keeps saying, “This is right. Put this inside your head and then go out into the world and see what happens.” 😅

I think of it a little like a plant getting sunlight. I don’t necessarily know beforehand exactly what the sunlight is going to do to the plant, but I’m also not stupid enough to say no to it. So I suppose that’s my expectation for this course: to keep taking in the material, give it time, and then later look back and see what actually changed in me, including the things I didn’t expect.

I’m beginning Semester 3 with a growing understanding of the science of Kabbalah and a real eagerness to continue along the path. I look forward to the lessons ahead and to learning how to strengthen my intention, deepen my connection with the group, and increasingly sense the Creator’s presence in everything within me and around me. More than simply gaining knowledge, my hope is that what I learn will gradually become something I can perceive and live.

I hope to understand. I hope to be able to separate Kabbalah from religion.

I am open, eager for growing the spiritual connection and understanding. It would be wonderful to feel that I found my path to spiritual world here

I expect to continue  enhance my journey. I dont really have any expections  but a deep desire to keep learning. I am  curious about the concept of real connection.
