I’d like to request an episode of Kabbalah Explained Simply to be about King David. I read about him sometimes in the Zohar, but there’s not much about him in our playlists. It would be cool if you could cover:
What is the spiritual root of “Goliath?”
Why is David in everyone, but Moses is not?
What exactly are all these battles David is doing?
Also, David seems to have a paradoxical relationship with the Creator and the posterior of the Creator. It seems like he is made to do forbidden things and then forgiven for them. What is the spiritual root of that dynamic, and what’s the proper attitude towards it? Is it similar to the concept of always striving to act in bestowal in the next moment, but trying not to regret the last moment because it was the Creator who controlled it?

Hi, who from the instructors will be in Hungary for the congress? Thanks!

        Hi Zorica,

I don’t know of any instructors going to Hungary. The English Department will be in Pennsylvania, U.S.

Can you tell me how I join the morning classes with the Rav?  I know nothing about these or how to attend or find them on line?

      Dear Gianni,

What makes a kli complete and ready to receive for the sake of bestowal?

      Thank you ❤️

That’s called the sayah (quota) of efforts, in quantity and quality, toward correct connection.

What is the difference between the efforts toward correct connection and the efforts to justify the Creator?

        • #434411

The efforts to justify the friends is where we can check our attitude to the Creator. Justifying the friends is related to connection with them. Connection with them is related to my connection with the Creator. Connection with the Creator means I’ll certainly justify Him. If my relationship, in all parameters, is the same toward Creator and friends, it’s true.

Is “justifying the friends” seeing the Creator behind them? If this is what you mean, then why shouldn’t I make efforts to see Him behind everything (not just the friends)?

“Justifying” is usually required where there is resistance, but with my friends, there rarely is! Or are we talking about something else here? Like trying to always look for the Creator in everything, even when no resistance is felt?

        • #434764

We always try to give in None Else Besides Him and He is Good Who Does Good. We can check if we’re in this, everywhere. But we need to check it against two backgrounds, like aiming a rifle. It doesn’t matter which sight we check first, but both need to line up. Otherwise we’re aiming off in the wrong direction. Usually a person checks only one or the other, so this process is long.

This was very helpful,  we will be careful to aim properly! Thank you ❤️

I want to ask something, but I find it difficult to express it clearly. During the Rav’s morning lesson on Saturday, I felt something profound—I’m unsure if it was just my perception, but it was like a click, a sudden eye-opener.

What if a person begins to truly see and feel the goal—not as something abstract or imaginary, but as something real and tangible? Everything they teach seems to point to the necessity of raising everything to the Creator. My thoughts are now entirely focused on the goal. I no longer associate with the concept of ‘I’; instead, I align myself completely with the goal. Nothing else matters—only that.

It feels as though I’ve finally understood what people were referring to when they spoke of this. I no longer see my friends as separate individuals. Instead, I perceive and feel them all united in that one, unique goal.

Please, I would need your advice on that.

One click. Now, over the next level of Aviut (coarseness), you’ll have start again as if you’re a newborn. And again and again like that until you go through all the required stages. Keep going!

Why I’m very afraid to lose this perception?  Very scared. Where is that scariness coming from?

          Any recommended video on Aviut?
          Thank you.

        • #434360

You don’t lose. Nothing disappears. But a new Aviut emerges, which covers it, so to speak. You have to do the same work upon the new Aviut (coarseness).

Friends, did you ever ask all members if they really wanna get all kabu lessons canceled because of christians holidays!? Have you tryed nowadays to hold lessons and see how many paeticipants will be there!? Because I really doubt, that they wouldnt come! Finally is everybodie’s choice if he would come, but if you cancel everything – they don’t even have a choice – it is YOUR choice. Can we please manage that we don’t cancel lessons generally only because of some christians holiday!? You also don’t cancel programs because of jews holidays, right!! Can we make a try, see if friends come and make a desicion after that!? When we see how the tendency is!?

In the end of correction even, everyone can keep their customs, Baal HaSulam writes. So we do make space sometimes for people to do so, when it’s clear that a good number of our friends might either want to celebrate or have family that might obligate them to.

There was a live session on YouTube on Sunday, with a live Zoom after. It was a nice option since I was otherwise alone, so appreciated it. Next time you might be able to hop over there and check if there’s a little spot to connect on one of those days.
