Participantwhere do i read the sulam commentary? i read online it is in like multiple volumes.. has it been translated? i can’t find it anywhere.

Chris – KabU InstructorModeratorI know this is currently be translated and finished and this was the first to release so far. I can’t find it at Kabbalahmedia.info library for some reason, but it’s here as an ebook. This was released just a few weeks ago so there is probably some catching up to do. I would occasionally check the kabbalahmedia.info “sources” for updates to BHS.

mrc sParticipantIs it better to oscilate between running and returning in Binah or not use Binah altogether?
- October 16, 2023 at 8:15 pm EDT #333073
Chris – KabU InstructorModeratorThe inclination should always be to elevate Malchut to Bina.

mrc sParticipantIs maaseh merkavah malkuth ascent to hochma and maaseh bereeshit to keter?
- October 16, 2023 at 8:15 pm EDT #333072
Chris – KabU InstructorModeratorSorry mrc, I’m not familiar with that interpretation. I understand that Maase Bereshit are texts about the creation of the world–the whole creation, and its system where Maase Merkava are texts that tell about the work of governance of the systems of this world.

mrc sParticipantThe wick is the symbol of the physical, what symbol is the hottest part of a flame (the blue)?
- October 16, 2023 at 8:10 pm EDT #333070
Chris – KabU InstructorModeratorHey mrc,
I’m not sure if I understand the analogy…

mrc sParticipantIs the body (egoistic desire) because of the law of pleasure and pain a prison?
- October 16, 2023 at 8:09 pm EDT #333069
Chris – KabU InstructorModeratorThe law of pleasure and pain is just one of the conditions set in our reality that operate the will to receive. “Body” in Kabbalah is just another word for “desire” and typically does not refer to the physical body in this world.
