I would be nice when all employees could work together  at their workingplace  to reach together  the goals. But mostof managers  are not ready for this . To much ego   narcism,  competition, etc  destroy collaborations,  Their interest is  production,  consumption , high salaris,  and that has a negative influance on the workfloor. and destroy creativity

People believe that competition is better than collaboration. In workplaces where people have a great environment, people become more creative and productive. A competitive environment is toxic and harmful to people’s overall well-being. In another word, it is an outdated mindset of people of the 21st century.

they dont think they will make more or less money if their employees have a good social relationship at work. many of them think it would decrease the amount of productivity to get the work done. but in actuality having positive social relations in the work place helps motivate the workers and keep good work performance.

competition inspires production and consumption.  Allowing someone to be too strong shows less dominance so keeping the worker at a negative ratio to management keeps them manageable.   Competition also divides, unity is strength and most managers dont want unity unless is in obedience only not inspired thought.  Division is the key to control and this is what keeps the machine a machine and not a soul
