Preparation Question: In what way have I gained a deeper understanding of my life and of the forces working in the world?

I am recognizing more that I am the will to receive and instead of fighting that, I can find peace in finding a way to work within that to become closer to the will to bestow and bring myself closer to the creator.

I start to appreciate the virtue of humility better. Being present, feeling gratitude for the beauty of the world and my fellow brothers and sisters. Enjoying to deepen the connection with my interlocutors, monitoring the feedback from the creator. Understanding the limitations of my former mode of  interpreting the world. A heightened sense of mental clarity , speed of processing information and sensorial acuity. A deeper appreciation for the diversity of human experience, and the way each one of us is led by the Creator. A deepening desire to become more altruistic and to overcome my  mental limitations and petty ways of seeking self-gratification.

The evolution of desires and the inevitable point of finally saying “is this everything there is?”.  I’ve come to Kabbalah twice in life, both after hitting major bottoms in my life.  My level of understanding of these patterns in my life has brought me comfort and hope that I can find actual fulfillment through the study of Kabbalah.

I’ve been looking in all the wrong places since I was 16, now even the recent events that seem so odd at first make sense that it was Him all along. The “pain” I’ve been through is all making sense along with the cyclical events that didn’t look connected. noticing this has given me a deeper understanding.
