Preparation Prompt: In Kabbalah, our primary task is to draw the reforming light, which supplies all we require for spiritual progress. Moreover, it’s said that aiding others accelerates our own spiritual ascent. How does this dynamic operate? What does supporting fellow seekers with a spiritual inclination entail?

I appreciated the metaphor of being a pipe. As we intend to receive to bestow Joy and Contentment to our Creator, by disseminating the Light —-that we have received, to the friends who are parts of our Soul — the Reforming Light flows freely—accelerating my Spiritual ascent. It is able to work more powerfully in and through us to correct all of us. Being with others who have the same intention to please the Creator by supporting (by being a Spiritual pipe) my Ascent, draws the Light to the entire Soul. This is our great privilege and responsibility.

Preparing and coming together with the same desire, the same intention, listening to the lessons of the Rav and scrutinizing the questions draws the reforming light between us. And the more people gathered together with the same desire the more the light is drawn.
