I just want to say that the concept of this world being like a projector screen has been an mind bender for me. It makes a lot more sense to me than any other theory has. Also, the treatment of spiritual things as a science is not typical. That you don’t necessarily have to believe some far-fetched idea of some “guru” but you can experience the fact yourself has very much inspired me to learn more and keep at it. It also showed me how I have no way of being altruistic of myself. No matter how hard I try at it, my desires are always selfish. It takes an outside influence to alter my desires to be that of giving, I can’t do it myself. The degree to which this has rung true to me has been very humbling. I hope we can all grow to be more like the Creator.

I am beginning to slowly understand that spirituality is different from what I thought before. Equivalence of form is the goal. Understanding what is behind nature. I see myself coming and going with motivation. I want to be more consistent. I know now that as I continue, this is common. I wish us all continued progress toward the goal.

First Semester Kabbalah Class Reflections

Over the course of this first semester, I’ve really found myself immersed in a lot of fascinating concepts: ideas like the upper world, the screen, the point in the heart, and the will to bestow have all become part of my vocabulary. At first, these were just abstract terms, but as I’ve gone along, I’ve grown more comfortable with them and started to understand how they interconnect—like pieces of a bigger spiritual puzzle.

One of the most challenging aspects for me has actually been more on the human side than the conceptual side. While I’m finding it easier to connect to these big spiritual ideas and the notion of a creator, it’s often harder to navigate the whole “connecting with other people” part. In today’s world, people can get on my nerves a bit, and working through that—seeing others as part of the same creation and interconnected journey—has been a real growth area. It’s definitely something I’m working on.

Overall, I’m really looking forward to seeing how this unfolds next semester and continuing to deepen my understanding.

Looking back i think Kabbalah is a beautiful approach to life, provides explanations that work well with me, I want to deepen this knowledge and I can’t wait to get to the practical part

this course inspired me to try and move in the direction of changing myself, because if every human is meant to do this, then so can I. I’ve barely scraped the surface of my egoism, but that was enough to make me want to try.

I wish you all to meet together in that higher state that’s meant for us.

Honestly, i think what inspires me the most is that knowledge itself. I want to know what is going on in my life, and thats what i can fell more or less, now i can watch,and wait…

I wish all my fellow students can come up with the basic things and grow fast…
