Albert – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Johan,
When we take our desire to receive pleasure and correct it the direction of bestowal, that corrected desire is called a soul. Since none of us are born corrected, we don’t yet have this thing called a soul, but only a soul in potential, which we call the point in the heart.
If we realize that potential, we can grow that desire to the level of the soul, if not, this same potential continues to reincarnate again and again until it gets fully realized.

Albert – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Ronny,
Disseminated to the world – yes.
Forcefully – no.
As we learn “there is no coercion in spirituality”. But we do disseminate as widely as possible, so whoever is indeed interested in learning these things, will have the opportunity to do so. We’ll learn how to properly disseminate the wisdom of Kabbalah in the more advanced semesters.

Albert – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Christian,
We learn from the lesson on the perception of reality that we see the world through the lens of our egoistic nature. If we want to change anything on the outside, we first of all need to do something about that egoistic nature. But just like a PC cannot just reprogram itself to run as a Mac, we too cannot just change our own nature, we need outside help to make this change.
This help comes to us from the light. The light performs all the changes and corrections on us. Our entire work is only in extracting more and more of the light, especially during the Kabbalistic studies, and it does all the rest.

Albert – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Johan,
Egoism. It is the source of all of our problems because it makes us opposite to the Creator, to His qualities of love and bestowal. And when we’re opposite to Him, we experience an opposite world. Instead of experiencing His reality, in which only goodness exists, we experience our world, full of problems and sufferings.
All of this follows the law of equivalence of form, which we’ll learn in depth in the upcoming lessons. In the meantime, check out this blog post from Rav Laitman for more details: https://laitman.com/2013/04/everything-is-attained-by-the-equivalence-of-form/

Albert – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Nuria,
We learn that “there is no time in spirituality”. Reaching it does not depend on time, but only on the right desire. If we build the right desire, within it, we will right away reveal spirituality. If not, then even if a few thousand more years were to pass by, we would still not reveal anything. It all depends on us, on our efforts to build that desire.
And it is possible to perform this correction within our lifetime. This is precisely why life expectancy went up so much in recent years, from 30-40 years like it was a few hundred years ago, to our days of 70-100 years. So if we use our time correctly, there is plenty of time to reach our full correction in this lifetime.
