Albert – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Scott,
You’re right, such people are less than 1% of the world, chances are you won’t find someone like that among your corporeal acquaintances or family members.
So where do we find such people? We can find them here. KabU is essentially a place where people with points in the heart come to learn about Kabbalah. Every semester hundreds of students from all over the world start this process. For those that choose to continue their studies with KabU, in the more advanced semesters, they will learn about spiritual work in a group, and be given their own virtual Kabbalah group with whom they can put all these things into practice.

Albert – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Zorica,
The Kabbalistic books, teacher, and group make up our spiritual environment. It is the foundation of all of our work. Without this foundation, we are incapable of attaining anything in spirituality. It’s like a seed relative to fertile soil. Nothing will happen with the seed by itself. Only by placing that seed in a specific soil will the seed sprout and turn into something else. Furthermore, if we place it into fertile ground, let it sprout, and then take it out, it will die.
Same with us. Without placing ourselves in a good spiritual environment we wont be able to attain anything. And if we remove ourselves from that good environment, we will lose what we previously attained.
We can see this in the example of Rabbi Yossi Ben Kisma that Baal HaSulam talks about in the article the Freedom. Here’s an excerpt:

The Necessity to Choose a Good Environment
Now you can understand the words of Rabbi Yosi Ben Kisma (Avot, Chapter 6), who replied to a person who offered him to live in his town, and he would give him millions of gold coins for it: “Even if you give me all the gold and silver and jewels in the world, I will live only in a place of Torah.” These words seem inconceivable to our simple mind, for how could he relinquish millions of gold coins for such a small thing as living in a place where there are no disciples of Torah, while he himself was a great sage who needed to learn from no one? Indeed, a mystery. But as we have seen, it is a simple thing and should be observed by each and every one of us. Although everyone has his own source, the forces are revealed openly only through the environment one is in. This is similar to the wheat sown in the ground, whose forces become apparent only through its environment, which is the soil, rain, and sunlight.
Thus, Rabbi Yosi Ben Kisma correctly assumed that if he were to leave the good environment he had chosen and fall into a harmful environment in a city where there is no Torah, not only would his former concepts be compromised, but all the other forces hidden in his source, which he had not yet revealed in action, would remain concealed. This is because they would not be subject to the right environment that would be able to activate them.
And as we have clarified above, only in the matter of the choice of environment is man’s reign over himself measured, and for this he should receive reward or punishment.

Albert – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Vania,
Equivalence of form means that I become similar to the Creator, to His qualities of love and bestowal. In order to love and bestow like Him, I need to have someone I can love and to whom I can bestow. But there is a condition that “there is no coercion in spirituality”. So we cannot do spiritual work with just anyone. We need to find those with active points in the hearts that are interested in doing spiritual work together with us. Given that these types of people are rare, less than 1% of the world, chances are you won’t find someone like that among your corporeal acquaintances or family members.
So where do we find such people? In the Kabbalistic group. The Kabbalistic group is made up of many people around the world that are interested in using the Kabbalistic method to reach spirituality. And in the more advanced phases of KabU, everyone will receive their own Kabbalah group (a ten) with whom they can put all these things into practice.

Albert – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Elena Ester Rivka,
I cannot comment on your personal situation, we can only talk about these things in general.
In general, everything indeed comes from the Creator, this is called “there is none else besides Him”. But the Kabbalists also say that “He is the good that does good”. So everything should be good, why then don’t I feel everything as good? It’s because his goodness passes through the lens of our egoistic nature. This nature is opposite to Him, so it inverts His goodness into something bad. It’s like multiplying numbers, a positive times a negative, equals negative.
So as long as we remain within this egoistic nature, we will continue to see and feel more bad things in life. But if we correct our nature to be similar to the Creator’s nature, we will reveal the true reality in which only goodness exists and that our previous egoistic state was nothing more than a dream.
We’ll learn more about these concepts in the upcoming lessons, in the meantime, check out these blog posts from Rav Laitman for more details:

Albert – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Daniel,
KabU is meant to give everyone a solid and gradual foundation in the wisdom of Kabbalah. If the materials are limited, it’s because additional materials are not yet necessary for our development. Sort of like we don’t hand a five year old an encyclopedia or a medical book, but rather we hand them something on their level which can benefit them where they are now. And after they grasp the foundations, we gradually add more and more materials for them.
If you’re curious, you can scroll through our Kabbalah Library and see that indeed there are thousands upon thousands of translated texts and lessons available in English. But again, without a proper foundation, these things will not do you any good.
