I have read the full story of The Dinning Table in Attaining the Worlds. The dialogue between the host and the guest was immensely powerful.

Feeling the presence of the creator though freewill of wanting to know the creator, learning what the creator likes, recognizing the difference between the pleasure we seek in this world and the abundance of pleasure the creator wishes for us when we seek his world.

How many years have I spent in this life, in an endless cycle of seeking pleasure that is only short lived. It was not until I knocked on the door that the creator started to work with me. Only to conceal again when I return to my selfish ways.

This passage meant a lot also:

But if we feel ourselves to be so evil that we cry out to the Creator to save us, asking the Creator to reveal Himself to give us the power to break out from the prison of our egoism into the spiritual world, then the Creator will help us instantly.

I can say that I have been blessed with an experience such as this. All I can say to do it justice is that, for a moment I was in the presence of devine light and that presence felt like overwhelming, unconditional love. I didn’t want to leave. But almost as soon as it appeared it was gone again, but in that moment it completely diverted me from my path of anguish and hate. It was like a drop of water was placed in a sea of pain and completely changed the whole ocean to that of love. Suddenly I knew who I was and what I needed to do and what was important.

That event took place over 23 years ago. At the time I was not aware of the creator and did not understand what had happened. I spent years after, stumbling chasing fulfilment through corporal pleasures. I now see the futility of my desires. I know see the need to change within, to alignment with the creator.

I wish to know the creator more so to bring him joy, so we may share in joy that which gives him pleasure.

This is the purpose we are searching for, to live for the creator through our own free will.

I shall wish to live a long life so to return his joy. If however the creator decides my life shall end, then I wish to return again and again to restore this love in this world. Be it 10,000 times or 10,000 x 10,000 times!

This joy is for everyone, never cease in seeking it. You may feel shame or unworthy, but your sin is there to show you the light. Don’t give up, seek the creator with all your heart!

I loved the story of the dinner guest. How the thoughtfulness of the host is repaid by the enjoyment of their guest and both sharing in the experience playing their part.

Coming to this with a new perspective of the role of the ego. It is different and a fresh take on the relationship with the creator. Normally recognition of my own egoism would trigger feelings of guilt or shame. However, the want to receive seems to scalable in the eyes of the creator? The want to receive so to bestow or to share, to reflect the nature to the creator being paramount?
Within the praying video, and I am paraphrasing here as it sounded as: when in prayer, if asked correctly, that it can be answered instantly.
Does this mean that we should ask the creator to help us change our perspective, for the lesson presented us and then expect answer will come?

Sometimes we are faced with old trains of thought that might not be useful for us anymore. New perspectives can take time to develop, or can we expect help with this also?

Are there also other ways in which we can work with the creator?

Perhaps, I need to test this myself? 🙂

Thank you for all your time with this.
