The Congress looks like a taste of the final correction–people from all over the world, experiencing such love! The Rav looked so happy! I watched Tony talk about it on Youtube in the related section. I am fascinated with the idea that you can make Spiritual progress in 3 days, that would take you years to make on your own with studying.
November 10, 2024 at 10:35 pm EST in reply to: Preparation Prompt: In Kabbalah, our primary task is to draw the reforming light, which supplies all we require for spiritual progress. Moreover, it’s said that aiding others accelerates our own spiritual ascent. How does this dynamic operate? What does supporting fellow seekers with a spiritual inclination entail? #399040Deborah JoplinParticipantI appreciated the metaphor of being a pipe. As we intend to receive to bestow Joy and Contentment to our Creator, by disseminating the Light —-that we have received, to the friends who are parts of our Soul — the Reforming Light flows freely—accelerating my Spiritual ascent. It is able to work more powerfully in and through us to correct all of us. Being with others who have the same intention to please the Creator by supporting (by being a Spiritual pipe) my Ascent, draws the Light to the entire Soul. This is our great privilege and responsibility.
Deborah JoplinParticipantOur work with the Light that Reforms brings us through the Reshimot in our Spiritual Root. It gives us the opportunity to view our own egos and see it for what it is — the opposite of Bestowal — the character of the Creator. By continuing to study, learn, and practice we draw the Light that reveals and reforms to ourselves. We choose to make corrections, accepting the Light and rejecting the destructiveness and filthiness of self-love. By this we can love the friends, connect with them in the workshop, fill the space between us with the Creator that makes us one. This process strengthens the influence of the Reforming Light. We have to correct the connection between us in order to reveal the Creator.

In what desire are we connected? #395538Deborah JoplinParticipantWe are connected in the desire to be like the Creator, to achieve harmony with nature. We connect with others who realize this is the desire that connects all of humanity. We annul our egoistic sense of self and surrender our point in the heart to the collective soul, receiving the the other points in the heart (swallowing them) as our own. The others, who seem external, in the corporeal sense, are realized as parts of our internal it’s. We begin to meet the needs of others as our own needs. The Light of Ohr Makif connects us like cells in the same body with a common goal—to be in peace and harmony—to be like the Creator.

By this we learn to love the collective soul. This is a unity of spirit that I have held out as an unrealized ideal for a long time. The potential of the experience we will share in and the butterfly effect of its success to the entire soul is an exciting call!
Deborah JoplinParticipantI am fairly sure that I have had some experience with Kabbalah in a previous generation. I have been the most transformed by recognizing that Reshimot in our spiritual root bring us in contact with challenges that we must expose and expel; and “others” that we prefer to view as externalities are, in fact, internalities. Ultimately, we are one collective soul.
