We start with a regular Will to Receive pleasure like all the parts of nature have, down to the smallest particles. For example, an atom that is missing an electron pair will seek it to reach a sensation of equilibrium. And every animal, and person, seeks, in each moment, whatever their proverbial missing electron pair is at the moment. Now, the ego per se is not this desire, but where this desire expands, into the perimeter of others, at their expense. This happens to humanity as a whole over the course of thousands of years; and exists in a person in embryo from the moment they detach from the mom, and in more advanced forms as they reach adolescence and adulthood.

I think, in that, there’s a sort of materialization that might make it easy for the masses to visualize, but if we’re serious about this, no visualization is going to help. What exists in nature for a person to open up is an additional sense that contains 5 additional senses, spiritual senses, which sense the additional, upper dimensions of reality, which we’re already in, but don’t sense, because with the 5 senses we’re born with, you can only sense our world, and never the spiritual world. The wisdom of Kabbalah aims to develop this sixth, spiritual sense.

Kabbalah does talk about this. But the profound teaching here comes from a special Light that one draws through the study of Kabbalah. Like in one of those old-fashioned dark rooms where photographs were developed due to the special conditions there, under the influence of the authentic Kabbalah books, the group of students, and teachers – the contours of one’s nature (the ego) become clear, and by contrast, the form of our opposite, the Creator, becomes clear, and we see that we can attain His form, by inverting ours.
Hi Brendan, when we get a bit closer to those states we can discuss it. The 125 degrees are clear to the person as he knows his in the first grade, second, third. The preparation states are much less clear, and one has to keep going even though he doesn’t know.
There’s something to both conjectures. However, it’s not especially important that the perfect words are found to express your state. You can focus on the state of the ten and envisioning its higher state.
