Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorhi Danielle,
The relationships between us are always egoistic and opposite to the Creator. Anything that occurs to us to do is egoistic. We need to get our instructions from an outside source (Kabbalists) and we need to implement their advice with the help of a force that doesn’t come from within us (the Upper Force). Furthermore we need to practice in a place that does not accord with activities I might be doing already even if I wasn’t doing so in order to attain the quality of the Creator – like going to work, spending time with family. It has to be done with a group of students who also want to follow the same path.

Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Raiza,
The authentic wisdom of Kabbalah a person cannot study if they don’t have a Point in the Heart. It has no special icons, prayers or customs to hold onto and promises you nothing in the afterlife. It gives you no prestige, but the opposite: no one will comprehend why you’re busy with this unless they too have a Point in the Heart. Anything else – yoga, a religion, some other ambition – they can somehow understand. But Kabbalah? Therefore a person gets the method by which a person can attain the quality of the Creator without being confused with the targets we typically aim for in this life.
As for a husband, you should choose one by the regular standards you would go by. A Point in the Heart is rare and it’s hard enough to find a spouse. It would be good if he knows you have this desire to realize the meaning of your life, if that is important to you. And of course, if it were possible it would be ideal if he had a Point in the Heart but you can’t in any way push that on a man. He either has it or he doesn’t. Meaning it’s awakened now or will later.

Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Paul
Segula means remedy in Hebrew, it’s that simple. It’s called remedy because like when I go to the doctor with a serious illness I must take the medicine he prescribes, by using the knowledge of the doctor, and not relying on my knowledge, because I could die a few times over before I can acquire the medical expertise of the doctor; similarly when I discover I’m sick with a quality of reception that prevents me from revealing the Creator, due to the law of Equivalence of Form, I must simply grab onto the Kabbalists and follow their advice as a remedy. It doesn’t seem so to me? No problem. I take it as-is, like I swallow the medicine in the pill bottle. It’s the wise guy who thinks he knows better than doctors – even a little bit – who is actually the fool.

Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Shira, you’re not the only one. But I’m looking into why it appears that way.

Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Loralee, I hope someone from tech got back to you. However, don’t worry, the important thing is that you went through it. It’s just for your advancement anyway, and will not affect your ability to progress through the courses.

Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorWe don’t need to be lower than other people, where did you learn that? 😉
Only towards others who have come to the wisdom of Kabbalah, I know that they must be here because the Upper Force awakens them. Otherwise, why would you come here? Later you’ll see that certainly no one comes here on their own. So, while this Upper Force is awakening the Point in their Heart, so they have the greatness of the spiritual goal, I lower myself before this desire of theirs, since it’s a different Point than mine and from it I can get more greatness of the spiritual goal, of which I don’t have enough alone to reach spirituality. I may really want spirituality, but no, that’s not enough to burst into the Upper World. I need to absorb more importance of spirituality from others on the same spiritual path.
Doing this is already prayer. Prayer isn’t words. Prayer is efforts that are in a direction that the Creator would be willing to help you with. He’s only willing to help you attain His goals for you, not your goals. We can learn about His sublime goal for us, from the wisdom of Kabbalah. If I go in that direction that the Kabbalists describe, and I see that it is not really in my nature to do so, and thus I’m not able to do it – well then I have a problem that I can’t fix on my own. Now, if I can’t fix it on my own, only then the Creator helps. Thus, my efforts are what count – efforts in a correct spiritual direction. The efforts are my prayer. Because if I make an effort and can’t, the prayer comes truly from my heart. This is the prayer that is answered.
You’ll have a group in the Graduate Program, for now it’s enough to study independently, and just learn about the group.
