    Thank you Gianni,

While I know it is not the same, I think I confused “shame” with “annulment”  during the reading. Thanks much or your explanation.

    Hi Gianni,

I have a Q. related to the manifestation  of shame in the “10” and its use seeking unity with the Creator. I read the Rav post “Shame is the point of myself” Rav answered : “We understand that each of us has egoism, and each of us has an enhanced sense of shame; and we must play on this feeling, showing the other person how much worse he is in relation to his friends, and to what extent he does not fulfill what we would like him to. In this way we spur him forward for his own benefit.”

It confuses me. I thought that we should annul ourselves in front of our friends, tryin to shame ourselves by trying to see the friends as being higher than ourselves. But here Dr. Laitman seems to say the opposite, shaming the friends and not us.

Could you please help me understand correctly?

    Thank you much

    Hi Gianni and friends,

Well I have no question at this point either. Friends asked so many good questions, and together with Gianni’s answer this is enough for me to feel understand and integrate a lot more.

    Thank you all

    Hi Gianni,

I do not have any questions yet. I prefer to let myself integrate the information/knowledge a little further by listening a second time and by reading the transcript and the material available.. However I am reading the questions of the friends together with your answers and it is enlightening as well.

I really appreciate the course, the lessons and all the material available in it. I understand better the process of creation, its relation to the ten sefirot and the tree of life itself. I think this course provide a good foundation for a beginner like me.

    Thank you much,

    Lorie

    Hi Gianni and friends,

My name is Lorie from Canada. I started the study of Kabbalah nine months ago. I am attending the grad classes live as much as I can. I am starting this class because it was proposed to us in the Sunday evening class as a way to get introduced to the fundamental text of TES in order to get a general overview of the system, a grasp of it. I am very glad that such a course exists and I am grateful to Gianni for it. I am very interested in studying TES and so motivated to participate in this class with you all.

I could not attain last Thursday class August 28. So I listen to it remotely, We read Shamanti 53 “The matter of limitation” followed by the reading of a large part of Shamati 52 “A transgression does not put ou a Mitzva” The instructor provided us great interpretations and explanations on some layers of the texts. Everybody were literally hanging  to his lips. It was a great help to me -and to many it seems- in understanding some of the contrasting dynamic between the spiritual and corporeal  worlds and how to approach some aspects of the kabbalistic method in a very pragmatic way.  I listen to it a second time and I guess I will listen to it a third time. We were all intently focused. And I guess just that was enough to get a little more light and contributed to increase our desire to be in equivalence of form with the Creator. It certainly had this effect on me. So I want to thanks this wonderful instructor and all the friends who were there. Thank you all of you. I feel uplifted.
