I’m also called Ricki, by my friends. I’ve been traveling around the world for a few years, until Covid started. I find myself in Australia, sadly far away from my family in the USA. I was first introduced to Dr. Laitman and the teaching of Kabbalah a few years ago by watching one of Tony Kosinec’s first You Tube videos. On my journey from the US, I went to Central Africa (where I was born) and continued to the Middle East and then to China and ended up in Australia. I went through some unexpected and unpleasant changes, and after much searching for answers to my questions, “Why am I here?” What is my purpose in life?”, I finally found my way back to KabU seriously this year. I joined KabU and am eagerly studying the courses available. I’ve wanted to know for a few years why was I was “brought” to Australia. My question was answered when I learned, “There is None Else Beside Him” in an article by Rav Yehuda Leib HaLevi Ashlag (Baal HaSulam). But more importantly, I am here to learn what I’ve wanted to know for a very long time, “What is my purpose in life?, Why am I here?”
RivkaParticipantThis is the quote I left on the YouTube video of Dr. Laitman regarding dissemination. (I don’t use FaceBook) “These courses are what I have been waiting for almost my whole life. I’ve almost always had this question lurking in my mind and my emotions, “What is this life about?” What I am learning is new and exciting and sometimes not so easy to understand, but my commitment to continue on this path is unwavering. I want to know what my purpose in life is.”
Only after writing this down did I realize how important the study of Kabbalah is to me. Especially as I start being part of the group and, with these particular actions I strengthen the influence of the reforming light.
RivkaParticipantBy disseminating the wisdom of Kabbalah so that we can advance. We strengthen the influence of the reforming light through this dissemination.

November 13, 2021 at 4:25 am EST in reply to: Preparation Question: What does it mean to connect with others? In what desire are we connected? #188074RivkaParticipantWe have to be a part of a group that has the same intention to change our desire to receive for ourselves to an intention to give our desire to receive to the Creator.
November 12, 2021 at 3:13 pm EST in reply to: Preparation Question: Starting a new course in Kabbalah is similar to a fetus moving on to a new trimester. The warm and fulfilling womb is still the same, but the desire and needs of the future human are evolving. Before we start the first week let’s set our expectations. How do we want the womb (Light) to influence and evolve us? What do we desire to achieve in this semester? #188052RivkaParticipantI desire to achieve the method of how to Bestow like the Creator, to learn to be part of a group that will help me to love others as myself.
