Rune T. A.ParticipantI think that we are closer to emergence than what the mainstream media refelcts. The media, as I see it, is doing more and more to divide us into groups of “us and them”, and all their talent-shows and “reality”-shows and what not are infact putting new hollow desirres and ideas into our thoughts and consciousness. But when I look around me, I see plenty loving, helpful people who are either feeling helpless about OUR situation and want the government to step in and solve each individual problem one by one, or people who just do not have an interest in how society works or should work. So I do (and have to) believe that with a bigger interest/awareness of what’s going on in the society (local and global) along with a Kabbalistic approach to life we are getting closer. I think that we are closer to emergence than to destuction (long as no crazy man sets out to burn it all down and succeed…)

Rune T. A.ParticipantThe deeper I go inKabbalah, the more my desirre grows and my surtainty that this is acctually the way foreward for humanity and for me personaly.
I’ve often dreamt of living in past times where life was more (seemingly) simple and meaningful, now I feel like I am living in the right times. It feels great 🙂
September 19, 2021 at 9:54 am EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: Imagine if people were connected according to the spiritual law of love. How would these many issues be approached differently? #63240
Rune T. A.ParticipantWell. It would mean that no one is left behind. The social systems will strive for everyone to find at way to live a meaningful life rather than a “happy” one, so I imagine that we would find more meaningful ways to make sure everyone has their basic necessities fulfilled in order to persuit their spirritual work. This would mean that a whole big chunck of all crime would dissappear and by living in world that think in terms of meaningfulness rather than happiness, we would probably also se a lot of mental illnesses such as lonelyness, appathy, depression and anxiety be much lesser a problem. We would need to look at how we punish/correct criminals in order for them to be able to function in a healthy society, and we would find some other methods to help addicts and the mentally ill. The more time the convict spends with loving people, the bigger his desirre to be as fulfilled/whole as those around him should grow, and instead of teaching addicts to control their desirres for relief by helping them to fit in to a unhealthy society, we might be able to make spirituality their goal instead, and in sodoing they might not need to escape their feelings…

Rune T. A.ParticipantHi Joseph.
This is exatly what I just thought to myself a minute ago. That I desperatly NEED this as a means to go on participating in This World. And only afterwards thinking about correcting myself as a bennefit to This World. Luckly I have begun the course Kabbalah in Action, where Julian (the teacher of the course) explains that what we feel and want from Kabbalah is perfectly allright, as this is normal, it is a genuine desirre and we are still on the right path 😀
Much love and connection,
Rune.
PS. I still hope that a teacher sees your question as I think it’s a good one and I would also like to hear the answer.

Rune T. A.ParticipantHello. My name is Rune and I am from Denmark.
I yern to know the Creator and understand the full spectrum of life. Infact, I need this to find meaning and will to go on living in This World. Don’t worry, I’m not about to go take my own life, I just don’t enjoy it. I feel like I don’t belong here and everything just seems so pointless and futile if it all just ends with Nothing… It’s like I KNOW there is something more to life than what I see, hear, taste, touch and smell, and that I HAVE to, god willing, find out what it is…
September 12, 2021 at 12:30 pm EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: Our entire work in Kabbalah is only to attract the light that reforms. By this we receive everything we need for our advancement. Furthermore, I’m told that if I will help the others, I will advance myself even more towards spirituality. How does this work? What does it mean to help the others, those with the point in the heart, on the spiritual path? #62730
Rune T. A.ParticipantI think it must be something like this. If I allow myself to authentic, meaning showing my own imperfected states/incorrected states, I also show my fellow students where their imperfected states are. If I remember it correctly, then, according to Kabbalah, it is the truth that as long as there exists, for example, a killer in the world, it means that I too have not corrected myself on this point yet. Allthough I do not act on such an inclination when I occasionally one, it is still not entirrely corrected within me. By me being truthful about an inclination to rid the world of a surtain brutal murderer or genocidal individual leader or any one at all, we can all correct ourselves together by means of prayer, and thereby we all, including me, will advance spiritually…
