I agree that we don’t know what true love is.
Regarding loving yourself, let’s understand it like this. When you wake up in the morning, it is your comfort that you look after, your belly you look to fill, your favorite clothes you look to put on, your favorite song you want to play when you get in the car, your favorite coffee that you have in the morning.
Everything we do is to maximize our pleasure…so imagine if we got up in the morning and thought about fulfilling another in everything.

Wonderful questions. This wisdom is built on questions and answers and asking like this, when things seem confusing or they don’t fit with our worldview, it’s good, it helps us build in ourselves the structure that the kabbalists are writing about. I’m happy to receive these questions in this way.
First, and this must be understood in order to go any further in the work, we are learning that besides the Creator, who is 100% bestowing, 100% eternal and unconditional love…besides that, everything else in reality, which is called creation, is 100% to receive.
This is fundamental to the entire wisdom. Kabbalah means to receive.
In this context, the Creator is male and all of creation is female.
It should be clear that we are not talking about gender or sex. In fact as we study the spiritual reality, there is not material existence that we learn about. We study the roots of everything in the spiritual worlds. There is no man there or woman there, only forces.
Now for us, here living in our bodies made up of mostly oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, calcium, and phosphorus, so we have mouths with tongues and teeth and palate and air that passes through the mouth to form words and even these structures have spiritual roots and we will learn them all later, but when we in our material form start to make sense and organize life, we are using such words as male and female, the kabbalists use a precise language called the language of root and branches and we will study this too.Regarding Hebrew, make a notebook or a document where you start to put the Hebrew words you are learning. If you were studying music, you’d need to know some latin words (arpeggio, piano, forte…) if you are studying medicine, one needs to know some latin (-phobia, -genic, -osis, etc…) and math, greek (alpha, delta, etc.). So the technical language of our science is Hebrew.
It is not necessary now to be fluent, but to start to learn the hundred or so terms that we will come across at this time will be helpful. Later you’ll get a feel for them and other qualities of the words, etc.We have some videos on youtube about the Hebrew language and we are developing a course now as well due to popular demand.

These kind of answers your soul will teach you.
Stabilize yourself with the material so you don’t float away in imaginations and as you arrange your inner world correctly, you will process all the events of your life and understand what is happening, how the Creator is guiding everything for the good.

You are in week four and you want to know where are the knives so I can do open heart surgery!
You can spend months and years studying the sources about gratitude and the same studying about prayer.
You can study 1000s and 1000s of pages and hear more and more concepts and it will fill you mind and you will feel that you know a lot and it won’t help you advance to the spiritual degree called adhesion with the Creator.
The process we are going through is a practical process of transformation.
We are studying a method passed to us by great kabbalists who reached the degrees that we want to reach.
I cannot impress this enough and I think you will have a hard time hearing it, but immerse yourself in the materials that we are studying together. Reread them, watch the clips again. Write notes, make sketches, do whatever you can to be immersed in the emotional experience of what you are going through with the other students. Your mind will expand too. If additionally in your free time you want to search the other courses and other materials, go for it. But if you want to advance spiritually, you need a serious foundation, there is no shortcut. You will arrive at the goal, but you will need persistence and to follow the method.

Imagine that you are learning a new language, you learned some new words and you feel confident. Then you go to the airport in the new country and everyone is speaking fast, about things you didn’t learn the worlds yet, a lot of slang, etc.
So you are just at the beginning of the path, you are hearing some words, some new concepts, some you may have heard of already in different contexts. Now is a time of calibrating yourself and stabalizing yourself in the kabbalistic material.
You cannot all of a sudden try to apply everything you are reading and hearing and get an accurate depiction.
Of course you can work with these concept, you can depict that everything that is happening is the Creator dressed in the inanimate, vegetative, animate and speaking degrees of our material world, but it is too premature to start naming every event from where it originated in its upper root and why it cascaded down precisely this way at this time.
When you start to feel your connection to the entire system of reality then these things will come into focus.
Soon it will happen.
