You are approaching the answer with your present mind.
You will not feel spirituality with you mind of today.
It is like a child understanding the emotions of the parents.
But in general, through the process of studying and working in the group of kabbalists, we grow our desire for the Light until we have a true desire for the light.
We are today in a field of endless light, but like a child sitting next to the parents, the little one does not have the vessels to feel all of the other things that are happening.
By making our desire more loving, we become like the Creator, when we become like Him in our intention, His light shines in our vessel and we feel spirituality fulfillment.

The desire comes from the Creator and it develops towards a spiritual birth.
In the same way that a mango seed will not become an apple.
A point in the heart will become a spiritual person.
What is in our hands is to plant ourselves in an environment where that seed can be nourished and grow in a healthy way, or if we will advance over a long period of time of making many mistakes finding our way.

The books of kabbalah speak to us about laws of nature from the root level.  The Creator is one force that operates using two reins, right & left, or + & -, or male & female, or most common and most clearly the Giver/fulfillment & the desire/deficiency.

All of creation, all the universe, everything is considered female in relation to the light of the Creator that fills all of reality with life.

We don’t give any advice regarding yours or someone else’s medical treatment.
We are engaging  here only in the natural laws of nature as written to us in the books of the kabbalists.

We are lucky people, we have a place to live, we have food, we have the internet.  All of the conditions are met for us to take our next step.
We are not in the field farming every day or hunting.  No one is chasing us into a cave.
Now you can come and sit and study the wisdom of kabbalah like a person coming to kindergarten.  Just participate even though you don’t understand.
If you try to apply your normal OCD ways of thinking and the other anxieties, you won’t hear or feel what we are studying.
If you remember how a radio works, the room you are in is filled with all of the waves of the radio stations, you take the radio and tune the radio to one of the frequencies that is in the room and then you can hear that one.
When you study the wisdom of kabbalah, tune into the kabbalists and what they are writing.  It does not need to make sense to you, you don’t need to own it and master it.
Then when you are done studying, go back to however you are living.
This is a good first step.

Regarding your question, the Creator created a will to receive.
That is our matter.  When our desire is filled, , we know within our reason, that it is good.  When we feel fulfilled, we know that it is good.  We are no longer deficient, we are now filled.
This is like an animal who is led by his desires, he just moves to fill his desires and he has no free choice in this.
On the other hand, when our kli feels empty, we have to use a power above our reason to feel that the Creator is good.  This is called faith above reason.  The Creator is felt by the power of faith.  So there is the filling of the empty vessel which is a pleasure and there is the connection to the Giver which is a great spiritual pleasure.
The work between reason and faith is called the work in two lines, by these two legs we advance.

Learning the wisdom of kabbalah from a kabbalist, like we are doing…all of your instructors here are long time students of the kabbalist Rav Michael Laitman, the successor of the great kabbalist the Rabash who was the son and successor of Baal HaSulam the commentator on the book of Zohar and the one who brought the wisdom of the hidden into the masses.
So, when we learn the wisdom of kabbalah like this, it is like a child in kindergarten.  At first, they show us something.  “This is a sailboat”. We don’t understand yet how the sail works, how exactly the rudder steers the boat or how the keel keep the boat upright.  We look at it, take it in our hand, hold it, turn it over and as we grow we can start to learn about the wind and the currents, etc.
Or the teacher gives you a ball of clay, now we make a bowl.  We were little kids playing with dirt, we don’t understand how to make it the right shape, the right proportions, etc, but we start to work with it.
Now we heard about Lishma, we will hear about many things too.  Lishma means for the sake of the Creator, we can say that.  Later it will open up more, but let’s say it means for the sake of the Creator.  Why is it called Her name, etc. there are many questions.  But in short this is the intention behind our actions.  We are a desire to receive and we receive everything for our own benefit.  Through the influence of the upper light and many actions and discernments on our part we want that Light to influence us and change our intention that we will receive but not egoistically, but receive all of the abundance for the sake of the Creator.
