You are correct that we have this emptiness, this void. This is what the Creator created.
Before creation all of reality was filled evenly and equally with one endless light. In the Creator’s thought (that’s how the kabbalists write it) arose a desire to create a creature and fill that creature with endless delight.
From the side of the Creator, there is not time or space, so that happened instantaneously, instantaneously there is a vessel, an emptiness that is endless and is filled with the Creator’s light.
But for us who perceive reality in our limited way, we feel here, below the barrier, we feel time and space and a sequence of events.
As we start to perceive the system, which is what we are learning here together, we learn about the structure of this desire, this void.
After all, all of reality is filled with endless light, so all of our work is only to make a vessel that can hold that light.
You pour wine into barrels and potatoes into sacks. Each thing has its correct vessel.
For the light of the Creator we need a kli (a vessel, a deficiency, a special lack).
What we want to do know is to start speaking with him, converse with Him in your heart, with your words, however you can and as much as you can.
It does not change Him at all, He does not change, but by relating ourselves to Him, and when we say Him we are referring to the Creator, that endless force of bestowal, when we relate to Him, it starts to format our own vessel.
If you wanted to raise star dust up to be a creature that knows all of reality, to become like God, so first it needs to want to eat and then procreate and then build a home and then acquire some wealth, it takes a long time until that matter organizes itself, the mind and emotion develop until it even starts to recognize that there is a Creator.
We are on our way and these things will become more clear.
Keep asking the Creator to guide and help us to bring His light into the world.
He will make the vessel bigger and we will keep asking. Later you will learn here how we connect together with others to form a structure we call a “10” between us where we form a common vessel called a soul for the Creator to dwell.

You are on to something.
But who persecutes and when and what makes that happen are also laws of nature.
The people of Israel are those people from ancient Babylon made up of all the 70 nations that were there who left with Abraham.
Today all of those who have the desire called Yashar El, straight to the Creator are those same soul.
We learn about all of this in our study.

This does happen. It is like you inherited a large farm or a large factory that makes you very wealthy.
But then you wake up one day and realize how much work you have to do to maintain this farm that provides you with all of this wealth.
It is a natural part of the process and you don’t need to be frightened, but only to identify what is happening, what you are feeling and how to use this bigger emptiness in order for there to be a bigger fulfillment.
After all, all of reality is only filled with the upper light. We only perceive it according to the size of our empty vessel, our kli.
Baal HaSulam has an article about it. It is more advanced, but there is light contained in the article. Read it, not so much for intellectual understanding, but to feel what the author feels.

We are studying a practical method, literally a science of the upper worlds.
We are now in the preparation phase, learning the structure of reality, after that we will learn how all of these forces are working on us, where we are in the system and how to relate and work with them.
After the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem and the the wisdom fell into the domain of the powerful and egoistic rulers, religions were formed, Judaism, Christianity and Islam, etc..
Of course we will find all kinds of things in those religions that seem familiar to what we study in the wisdom of kabbalah since they all came from there.

We learned already many times and you need to review again that everything in reality develops according to the 4 degrees. We learned in Kabbalah Revealed 1 about the 4 phases of direct light. We also learned about Inanimate, Vegetative, Animate and Speaking. And also within the speaking degree there are inanimate, vegetative, animate and speaking. And everyone is required to come to this wonderous goal of uniting all of humanity as it says, They will all know me from the least to the greatest. And also, My house will be a house of prayer for all nations, etc.
It is normal that when we start to study something so deep and wonderful that other things in our lives loose interest.
Nevertheless, we do not disregard the Inanimate, Vegetative and Animate degrees, not in the world and not in humanity.
You didn’t stop going to the grocery store or the gas station since you started studying kabbalah, so be a healthy son, brother, uncle, father, etc.
In the meantime, you are having a secret love affair with the Creator, you don’t need everyone around you to know all of your business. You work, you cook, you hug, you speak, all normal things that people do.
Don’t worry about fixing everyone else now.
We are falling in a black hole of our own will to receive. Let’s stabilize ourselves first.
We’ll learn how everything else happens later and we’ll see how the Creator will arrange every next degree for us.
Our work is in our correct attitude towards what he prepared for us.
