  • David,
The books of kabbalah are special.  There is a wonderful, invaluable remedy in them.  Although the student does not understand what he is learning, through the yearning and the great desire to understand what he is learning, he awakens upon himself the Lights that surround his souls.
The purpose of our engagement in the wisdom is not to become wise, but that the light in it will work on our matter, give a new form to our matter.
It sounds like you invested a lot of time and attention into your practice and from it you have acquired a language to describe your inner movements.
As you go through the materials in these courses and especially when we are reading and studying the sources that were composed by the kabbalists, make some room for what they are presenting that it can enter you and format you.  It may be difficult for you since you have so much experience in your personal practice, you may be inclined to define everything they are presenting in your own language instead of their language.
The gates are open.  It It all develops according to desire, how much we need it.
    Wishing you success,

    David,
The entire reason for Creation is to make a creature who can be filled with delight, with all that the Creator bestows.
    But there are conditions.
The first one is that if we felt that pleasure, our existence would immidiatly be nullified.
Before any emptiness can arise, it is already filled beyond contemplation.  A person would be an angel or some other form that only carries out the commands of the Creator because a person would have no way to do anything against that incredible pleasure and fulfillment.
So we have these states left and right, left and right, empty and full, empty and full.
All of our work in the wisdom of kabbalah is to work on the side of the empty vessel, on the shape of that vessel.
The light of ein sof fills all of reality equally at all times.  Our work is only from the side of the vessel how to draw the light into that vessel to format it into the right form to hold that light.
As we do this work, we build that vessel bit by bit until we can consciously hold more and more of the endless light.

    Ricki,
Yes, these are very intense and strong states that you are going through.
There is something to be happy from here.
You have a very strong desire to find meaning and answers.
This is the fuel that drives us to discover this wisdom.
You are in part 2 of a 4 part introduction series.  After you complete the first 4 courses, you can join other students in live classes and also begin work in a virtual group where we learn how to practically work with these lights and forces between us.
Find confidence that you found an authentic method, an ancient method passed from sage to disciple for thousands of years.  The materials we are studying each week are the fundamental building blocks that everything that comes next will be built on.
Try to work with the materials that we are studying with.
Rewrite articles in your own words or draw or paint or write a song with it.
Work with the material each week so that you live with it for more time during your free time and you’ll feel how already the light in it starts to work on you slowly.

    Alejandro,
You have found the wisdom of kabbalah which describes the structure of reality.
You will have the opportunity to learn about how all of our material reality developed according to four phases:
    Inanimate
    Vegetative
Animate (that is the animals you are asking about)
    Human/Speaking creatures

Our universe follows this development in four phases from below to above, from the most simple to the most complex connections.
We will also learn the structure from above to below where those four degrees descended from the endless light above down through the degrees until the our world.
All of our spiritual work now is between humans and as we do this spiritual work together and rise, the animal, vegetative and inanimate degrees all rise together.

    Adelina,
The question is what is a person, called Adam.
This does not refer to a person who wears clothes and lives in a home somewhere, but Adam means that the person has an inner structure that resembles that of the Creator.
The flesh and blood body is not the relevant part, but the desire of the person, which direction it aims, if it aims like all of the other creatures towards reception or if it inverts towards bestowal like the Creator.
    Seth@KabU

    Clifton,
All of these exist inside of a single person and they are expressed differently.
There are many matters here.  First there is the matter of the integration of the souls and the incarnation of form through the generations.  Also there is qualitative changes.  You know a 15 year old with $100 in his pocket may feel like he owns the world so these desires come in all different ways.
In short, if you are here, you made it.
