Seth – KabU InstructorModeratorRade,
At this point in the story, Malchut is going through a transformation.
She (by the way, there is no he or she or any “creation” to really speak of yet, this is the primordial blueprint of creation and everything that will follow) feel that there is some bestowing force that is all good and she herself has been made as a receiving vessel, and while she must receive, the act of reception separates her from the Creator. He is 100% bestowal and she is 100% reception. And in spirituality closeness and distance are measured by quality. If the quality is the same they are close, if the quality is different they are far. If the qualities are as opposite as can be then they are as far apart…they are infinitely far apart. She wants to bridge this gap so she now seeks to discover how to be like that initial thought to bestow.

Seth – KabU InstructorModeratorHelen,
If we knew and could measure everything that everyone of our ancestors did and how every advertisement and every teacher we’ve had and the influence of media and society on me, then I’d see that I have no freedom at all.
But all of that is hidden from me, so I feel I’m moving with free choice and that is good. That is by design. If everything was pre-programmed, then who am I? So in this space where I don’t see how I am connected to each and every other thing in reality, here I have the freedom to discover the Creator as if by my own forces.
Regarding your second question, there is no problem from the side of the light.
All reality is filled with the endless light, the room you are in is filled with endless spiritual light. All we lack is a vessel with which to feel it. Like a deaf person in a room with a symphony.

Seth – KabU InstructorModeratorPrudence,
From our perspective there certainly are what seem like forces standing between us and the Creator.
Let’s use an airplane as an example. It is a giant piece of metal and plastic that weighs a few hundred thousand pounds, now we need it to get up in the air and fly. So from the one side, that seems impossible, but if we understand how to work with the forces, then it becomes possible.
So for sure there is gravity and for sure we have a lot of weight and if I try to lift the plane every day for the rest of my life it is not going to budge, but if I learn the laws of nature, I can work with the forces and fly.

Seth – KabU InstructorModeratorRade,
What book are you reading from?
Copy paste the entire paragraph here so I can answer in context.

Seth – KabU InstructorModeratorRade,
I’m given a group who is with me on the path and we are all studying and drawing the reforming light together from the books and in the lessons and in our work between us I am always calibrating and measuring how I am judging and measuring all of them according to my ego, which is naturally how I am built and then where I can make efforts to rise above each time, to actually love.
By this we rise higher and higher.
