Hi Gianni, thanks for answering all these questions:) I understand our substance is that of a lack. What is the substance of a ten then?
Adding to this… what is the importance of internal individual work as compared to the work in the ten? I feel, the ten is the sacred space to connect, grow, learn about bestowal. But as well it feels like an organism of itself, and I am just a part, and every part is needed.. So, what importance should I give individual internal work, and how to relate it to the work in the ten?
What’s the purpose of corporeality in terms of growing through the wheel of ascents /descents?
It understood that as we progress , in terms of descents, our external challenges will more and more turn into internal challenges. And that if we keep our focus on being more aware of ascents and descents, and of seriously trying to adhere to the creator, the work will become more of an internal one. I feel, though, the external distractors which corporeality brings to be much more violant and harder to grow above than the internal ones.Therefore… can it also be the other way round… ? Or is it just a sign of spiritual „immaturity“ to have to go through those external challenges?
As I was reading the TES lectures , I wondered about what the term „substance“ means.
I understand, there is Existence out of absence refering to the will to receive , which is our substance. Because there is no wish to receive in the creator. Since the creator is everything, and we are opposite to him in our nature, then is our very substance that of being a lack, a void, (like a mini black hole)?
Hi Gianni. I have been reading Shamati 50, and I am wondering are we walking the two paths consecutively or can we be on both paths at the the same time? Can it be that internality moves us towards hastening time, whereas externality is exposing us to the typical challenges of the path of suffering, maybe even more forced than before we entered the path of truth? In that how should we relate to externality? Should we consider it irrelevant or relate to its impact as to whether or not it is nearing or distancing us from spirituality?
And I am sorry ,there is one more questions, I just really cannot get closer to that… although probably it has been answered a milliion times… in practice, what does it mean to bring contentment to the creator? What is the intention that I should have, in order to grow towards that? I feel I can grow towards love for the friends, and I have no issue seeing them greater as me, and I feel there is this sacred place in the ten… but that is a natural process, itś just happening… whatever action I do, whether participating in a workshop, preparing something… I do that with love, but I dońt feel myself in it, itś just a process, itś just happening as being part of this ten… so what does it need? Whereever the ten is, whereever the work is, whereever the creator is, there is no „me“… I dońt feel it… or if I feel it there is no creator (because then I am just in my ego, anyways). So, how can I bring contentment to the creator then? I dońt feel a „I“ in this…
