ParticipantDo you suppose the 10 starts working before it is even formed into a group? I am asking because this week I stumbled across a lot of tools and pieces of information that solved some very intractable problems for people I care about. That feels like Light that I had the opportunity to pass to them.

ParticipantAlso, regarding the letter Bet in the story of the letters, and how it is the one without an opposing force, and that creation was made with it.
Does that mean that this “blessing” force is how the Creator can influence us regardless of the system of nature, like a button to nudge an otherwise closed system in response to correct prayers?

ModeratorIt’s part of the system as there’s nothing outside the system. It’s best to think that in us are two reigns, pleasure and pain. By these, He influences us. Then, because in us exists the incorporation of the qualities of Malchut and Bina, there are two kinds of pleasure: toward corporeality, and toward spirituality. One quality in us feels delight when we’re heading toward corporeality, and the other enjoys when we’re headed toward spirituality. They’re essentially warring within us. We need to see always who is winning th war.

ModeratorWe can’t make these assumptions because there are laws but they work by mechanisms we can’t imagine. They’re not simple like gravity, “I throw this up, it comes down.” Until we attain the spiritual system for ourselves, we won’t be able to see cause and effect, predictable results.
But in general, I have always been with my ten, and will be. And even if the faces change, it will still turn out to be my ten. Again, these things don’t work according to our brains.

ParticipantWhen I was reading the article “How bad is it to go through life without a plan?” from Dr. Michael Laitman, I remembered reading somewhere or hearing somewhere that we all have a unique purpose in life. Is that true? If so, how do we find our unique purpose?
Or is the only purpose to reconnect with the Creator. And, in order to do so, we need to correct our nature. Which might be a unique correction?

ModeratorThis world has to purpose except to connect with the Creator. What I’m doing until I do that has been arranged perfectly. If I need to do anything else, it will become clear to the extent that I’m using all I was given, to reach the goal of life. In short, we could talk about Kabbalah revealing anything about what I’m doing in this world, only when it’s a person that is already aimed entirely at reaching the Creator with everything he’s got. In the meantime, I just need to live my life like everyone else, except that I’m studying Kabbalah and increasing my desire for the spiritual goal.

ParticipantYesterday, February 22nd, the topic in our group was “Recognition of Evil to reach the Good”. I was struggling with the word “Evil”. If we were created as the will to receive, and we don’t have (much) free will, how can anything be Evil?
If everything that happens to me is an opportunity to correct myself, with the ultimate goal to become like the Creator, how can I see anything being Evil?
Can you explain what is meant by the word “Evil”?

ModeratorYou’re right, Mark. You have no evil. we only call it evil when I try to go into connection with others for the sake of reaching the Creator. The phenomena that reject me from that, I call evil because it’s not letting me reach the greatest thing there is. Now, it turns out that that evil was in me all along, but was unnoticeable because it only rises up in resistance to connection.

ParticipantSo, if I am very comfortable living in my little world and don’t make any effort to connect to other people, that is considered Evil?

ModeratorNo. That’s considered the level of a beast, an animal like others in the animal kingdom; except this animal has in him some sparks from the future degree. It’s up to him to realize them.

ParticipantI noticed no one has posted here for awhile but I’ll still post my question and give it a shot.
We are told to work with a group and to practice the commandant of “love thy friend as thyself” but also I have been told definitely that the creator allows and doesn’t care about wars people make killing, world hunger. Looking at civilian casualties of all wars in the world it’s not people’s fault that they fall victim to the tyranny of politics. I get that’ it’s human ego but no everyone is to blame especially those caught in the middle that absolutely no one cares about or speaks of in the media etc. why doesn’t the creator help them?My question is. Does the creator care about us ? Or is our only purpose to imitate him and perform corrections to mirror the way he is. Does the creator interact with us ? Since I’ve been studying kabbalah for the past few years and more serious the past year, I haven’t noticed much change other than that I’m more aware of my arrogance and I’m trying to be more patient and understanding. But I haven’t had any solemn experience of the creator that I can identify and if I have achieved any corrections I don’t know what they are. Any advice ?

ModeratorDo you have a ten? If not, you’ll get one in the graduate program. For the minimum Equivalence of Form with the Upper Light, especially once one has passed the initial phase of absorbing the materials (in which phase he should be installing them on his “hard drive” as much as possible), then this installation needs to be expressed outwardly, in a group of ten. Otherwise how would one feel the system he is in? That is, by simulating love and bestowal toward such a background, he is nevertheless getting into some degree of Equivalence with the Creator. Only in this Equivalence is there some Creator to discuss. He never appeared in some other way than by one already being in some Equivalence with Him. Then, in that, you meet Him, feel Him, and find out if He loves you, if He loves humanity. Like I finally felt I understood my father when I had kids, by your Equivalence of Form with Him, you understand Him, that all He ever did was for you.

ParticipantGreetings!
I think, though I have done much of the reading about Galgata Eynaim and AHOP a few times, that I still might have some confusion about AHP. I had to redo the quiz question concerning what is included in AHOP, I was not thinking that the teachers and the studying of the books were part of AHP. Because they draw the Light to us, I thought of them as part of G.E. I am remembering now that the G.E. must send the Light to the AHP. So, am I understanding correctly that the teacher and books are AHP which draws the Reforming Light and the G.E. –the Upper Part of the Partzuf which must send the Reforming Light to the AHP?

ModeratorHi Deborah,
I’m not sure which question you’re referring to, but it’s not important; these terms a flexible since we can’t really know who belongs to what, according to the root of their soul. I think it probably referred to our general degree vs. the Upper Degree. So on our degree we have friends on the path, some of which are teachers; books; and all together we’re uniting to try to reach the Creator, here called GE.

ParticipantHi, so now that I am almost through this course and a few more, it just dawns to me that this form of Spirituality, Kabbalah, is really fundamentally changing my perspective, and really different to anything I have learned so far. Now, I am wondering, if my understanding is correct, because if it is … it means a deep shift of perspective and deep inner change…
I wonder if you could please tell me if I got something very wrong in how I understood things, so that I know before I start walking into the totally wrong direction.
So thatś what I understood: In terms of Kabbalah, itś about the development of the whole of creation. We are just little fractals of this whole, and as such there is no point trying to advance our individual skills or even power, ask prayers for ourselves or our benefit,…because we are just these tiny little parts of the whole anyways. So we dońt inherit any power in ourselves or for ourselves, just like a cell is not sovereign of the body. In fact, there is no need for us to have more power, because creation is one whole, and all we are is a tiny piece. But what we may have is the chance to develop a connection to the whole, and as such we may learn to direct our intention and energy towards the whole.
And if we want to develop, then it should be to develop our understanding and attainment of this , in benefit for the whole. Like an ant in an anthill or a bee in a beehive. And therefore, any prayer needs to contain that yearning and wish for the whole ,and not for us… and the later is not needed anyways, because the light of the upper force is as good as can be anyways, only we might not feel it from where we are. So, any development in this world as a human being should be directed towards understanding this system, overcoming that egoistic state of mind and heart again and again, and advance in really attaining this world of spirituality being …even while being just a tiny spark of creation. However, in connection with the other sparks, each correcting bits, it will develop the whole. And the more we learn to connect and correct, the more light we will feel.
OK, so hopefully that doesńt go too far astray. I feel quite overwhelmed (in a good way) with the change of perception this form of spirituality is asking…

ParticipantDear Gianni, thanks for letting me know… I am glad I am not heading into a totally wrong direction. 😊And a big thanks to everyone for all these wonderful courses and material. Itś really just so mindblowing, and I am impressed at how all these very life-changing content is presented in such a patient, and gentle way.🪷
Hopefully, itś not getting to bothering, but there is yet one more question that has been with me for the past weeks… and that is how to study correctly? So far, I just got this very rough overview, but I really tried to feel all the content, so I tried to be there with an open heart… and open my mind as much as I could… but I probably could go through the courses another ten times to memorize all the names and structures. It felt all right to do it this way, more focusing on the experience than the cognitive process alone, but then I always wondered… what is the purpose of studying? What would be the right preparation… and what should be the goal? You know, I would like to just use these ressources wisely…

ModeratorHi Verena,
We say “one studies where the heart desires,” so you could go through all these again – and no, you don’t really need to focus on memorization. Focus on the experience is better. They’re arranged sequentially. So, soon you’ll join the graduate program, and that’s where we dive more into the intentions and how to study. There’s no one, quick answer about how to study because the entire wisdom is how to position myself before the Reforming Light – with what thoughts, desires, intentions? Generally, we study with the intention to come closer to the Creator, which is the force of bestowal, which means to become like Him, since we come closer through Equivalence of Form, and not in any other way.
