As I study and work to learn, how will I know if I have passed from one level of the 125 levels or 5 worlds to the next? Will my intentions change? Will I feel something different within myself? Will I subtly be told by the Creator? Or does it even matter, if I know or not?

All those are correct suppositions. Plus, you’ll know because the transition to the spiritual world is more sudden, essential, and final than what a baby feels being born into our world – except that you retain your grasp on this world. It’s just that both in importance and sensation one no longer feels he’s confined to the dark, bitter radish he always lived in, but there’s a broad reality surrounding, and this feeling, realization, and understanding sweetens the radish too. In short, each degree is something very clear.
I am not sure what page because it’s an audio file (but I think somewhere around page 100) in The Science of Kabbalah he mentions that a kli can only have one desire. So the kli is divided in two, to accommodate the version of that desire that’s in bestowal and also the one for reception. This way it can have two in the same partzuf. This seems to imply that those diagrams of the partzuf are showing that the rosh has a desire (to bestow) and the guf has the same desire but with the intent to receive. I have never seen it described this way.
Also, does this mean that the vessels of bestowal are the roshes (roshim?) and the vessels of reception are the gufs? It’s not that they are completely other kelim? Just opposing parts of the same kelim?
A corrected Vessel is called a Partzuf, which has a Rosh (head) with a Masach (Screen). The Rosh determines the way the entire Partzuf is used, so that it will only be in order to bestow. This means that it has 3 parts. In the Rosh, it measures – the vessels there are small, and only fit to measure for the rest of the Partzuf. The Guf is where it actually receives the Light that the Rosh determines it can receive. The Sof is the part where the vessels that are there contribute to the act of bestowal, by virtue of not receiving – but they receive a compensation of Ohr Hassidim (light of Mercy), by which they are in a relative equivalence of form with the Light (at least they are not opposite to it).
So would a “vessel” of reception not really be a vessel at all, but more like a sieve that can only sense something passing through it?
Also, I am listening to the morning lesson and Rav mentions that Pharaoh and the Creator can only be together if they are connected by a screen. Which makes it sound more like a complex adapter type structure creating the relation between the two. Not a simple barrier? Is this why a screen is sometimes described as having. coarseness, thickness or hardness? It’s not a simple threshold?
Like how they think our skin is a ‘simple barrier’. You’re dealing with actually the body’s most complex organ. It’s an organ. So, is the Masach (screen). There is nothing more complex. Only the Surrounding Light can build it, just like our most advanced science can’t even dream of building even one cell. Whatever we try to build will be not even a Frankenstein. We build only by utter subjugation to the Upper Light that knows how. We learn about it just to somewhat know what kind of actions we want performed upon us: restriction over the desire, and over another desire, we gradually build the Screen.
You’re right, there’s no such thing as a vessel of bestowal. There is a vessel of reception that is used in order to bestow.

A ladder of degrees was prepared as we descended from the World of Eyn Sof down to our world, the most corporeal degree, the greatest concealment of spirituality possible, where it’s as if no such thing exists. It’s concealed on purpose so I have the opportunity to start becoming like th degree above me, out of my own free will. We’re learn how precisely through this reality I can know exactly where and how I need to work to reach increasingly spiritual states.
Hi Gianni, if I understand correctly everything is predetermined and everything is completed to perfection at creation, and what we perceive is not the true reality; because everything is unfolding backwards, from the end to the beginning like: worst, bad, good, better, excellent perfection; corresponding to the amount of light that entered the vessel, we must continuously state, claiming There is None Else Besides Him; the good that does good, no matter what we are experiencing, what we see or perceive in This corporeal reality; it’s propelling us to acquire that vessel to receive the Light for connection with the creator?
Yes, the reality is perfect, so much so that nothing bad, less than perfect, has ever happened, happens, or will happen. All that is missing is us to change our goggles (our Kli). Then we will see that everything had always been perfect and only love came from the Creator. Not tough love, but actual, only good things. It’s also only in our perception that as we correct ourselves, reality seems better and better. It’s that we come closer and closer to bestowal, the Creator’s quality.

Yes, you have to work together with those projections of your own qualities, and treat them as if they are parts of you. So, according to the rule, “love your friend as yourself.” On condition that you evidently are trying to do this, the Reforming Light will work on you, and gradually bring you to the true perception.
