mrc sParticipantIs the process of recognizing my evil means deteriorating my relationships..? If so than I think the right one should even enhancing my relationships right..?
- June 22, 2022 at 5:45 pm EDT #292335
Chris – KabU InstructorModeratorHi mrc,
The general trend of deteriorating relationships is the revelation of evil, yes. The cause, like you said, isn’t the recognition of evil, it just is a form, a “fruiting body” of how the ego manifests itself – as separation, hatred, inability to communicate – etc.

mrc sParticipantI’m studying Kabbalah, but i want to also enjoy worldly pleasures as if I concentrate on Spiritual pleasures while it is yet in my reach I find it hard to do worldly things if it’s not pleasurable/enjoyable and I get no pleasure whatsoever currently and don’t know until when I reach Spirituality.., and if recognizing my ego is unpleasurable and it’s the only way to reach Spirituality then I’m afraid I can’t do that because it’s unpleasurable while attaining Spirituality is uncertain and who know maybe another 2 or 3 lifetimes whereas that normal people seems happy and way much better than me.., and I remember before I started studying Kabbalah my life was great and I did not feel any error in my thinking whereas now it seems that there is a virus/bug in me, can you explain this experience.. Are the majority of the students of Kabbalah successful or miserable because I think now I kinda feel like a loser.. Help.. Thx

Chris – KabU InstructorModeratorHi mrc,
This is actually great. It’s the next step. You wouldn’t be shown these things, have these thoughts, feel these sensations if it wasn’t something you weren’t ready to work with correctly. The key here, and return to this frequently, the key is aiming towards None else Besides Him. This will “straighten” you out and there won’t be anyone to blame but Him and no one to fix you but Him. You just have to have the right “approach” which cannot be an approach for yourself. “Figuring out” this approach and with what to approach is the entire preparation to the path. Persistence – anything but leave.

Hamed TParticipantSecond question:
In the book; A guide to the hidden wisdom of kabbalah, page 46, says:
“What you do doesn’t matter, only what you aim to achieve by it”
Slavery, they made human beings slaves, as free laborers to build themselves a better future in all history.
<p data-select-link-text=”1″>Many suffered yet because of their sufferings many more benefited.</p>
How do you explain this?

Joseph – KabU InstructorModeratorHamed,
This is just the manifestation of the human ego that wishes to control others. We can only measure benefit or harm according to the purpose of creation.
Until we consciously enter the process of correction, all of our actions are purely expressions of the ego. And we must aim to reach bestowal and love, which is opposite our natural egoistic inclination to control others.

Hamed TParticipant<p data-select-link-text=”1″>If everything is predetermined and planned by the creator “even my next lunch”, sin becomes meaningless. I was watching a webinar of Dr. Laitman and when a lady raised her hand to ask a question, Dr. Laitman said it wasn’t you who raised your hand, it was the creator!</p>
Is kabbalah saying that all the evil doings comes from God, such as murder, rape, betrayal etc? did God killed millions of Jews in WW-ll?I know kabbalah recognize egoism as evil, yet according to kabbalah the source of that egoism is God himself, he made us with a will to receive, so God is to blame?

Joseph – KabU InstructorModeratorThe wisdom of Kabbalah says that there is none else besides Him, besides this there is only the point of recognition of the person. This means that everything comes from the Creator, and what we receive is only pleasure.
However, because of our uncorrected vessels, we cannot correctly relate to what we receive from the Creator. For this reason, on the path of correction, we discover things that we do not understand and cannot justify.
The advice is to continue, and gradually, step by step, a person will reveal the true reality and begin to understand why everything happens and how this whole corporeal reality is merely a means to attain the spiritual reality.
Only by rising to the spiritual perception of reality can we truly understand this corporeal reality and it’s purpose.
Moreover, the Kabbalists say that this entire corporeal reality is merely an illusion. That doesn’t mean that we should disregard our current perception, but it does mean that eventually we will discover that our previous understanding was not aligned with the true reality.

Hamed TParticipantBut you didn’t answer my question!
I’m not asking how a person perceives the world around him, I’m asking about Kabbalah philosophy about sin and free will.
How can murder, adultery, lying etc. considered a sin when you have no free will?
- June 23, 2022 at 9:36 am EDT #292381
Joseph – KabU InstructorModeratorHamed,
According to Kabbalah, the only sin is not attributing something to the Creator, meaning that there is some other external force that acts besides Creator. Regarding humanity, there is no sin because they are completely governed by the Creator.

Hamed TParticipant“Regarding humanity, there is no sin because they are completely governed by the Creator.”
How do you expect me (or anyone) to believe that God is the source of evil doings in our world?
I understand that “the egoism” is the main cause, but when you say it is -completely- governed by the creator and -we have no free will- it suggest that EVERYTHING, good and evil is coming from God. now you may answer that we don’t know the “wisdom” behind the God’s acts but yet again I refuse to believe God is evil. he can and will do whatever he sees fit by only good causes not for example by war!
“There is none good but one, that is, God.”

Joseph – KabU InstructorModeratorHamed,
Don’t believe it. Don’t believe anything. You should try to attain the true reality in your own perception. This is done by systematic studying of the authentic books of Kabbalah.
Kabbalists describe reality according to two principles:
1) There Is None Else Besides Him
2) He’s the Good that Does Good
This means that only the Creator acts, and His actions are only according to what is good for us. Not according to the body but for the soul.
Of course, there is a vast difference between our perception and that of the Kabbalists. About this it is said there is none as wise as the experienced.

mrc sParticipant<p style=”text-align: left;”>Should we not feel bad at our shortcomings/negative attributes because it is created/preordained in the beginning by God..?</p>
- June 15, 2022 at 5:26 am EDT #291657
Joseph – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Mrc,
There are no shortcomings when it comes to spirituality. Everyone begins from the same point and has the opportunity to fully attain the Creator according to the root of their soul. This doesn’t depend on one’s corporeal qualities and attributes, but on the efforts a person makes to build for themselves an environment that will influence them with the importance of the goal.

BeverlyParticipantThis is a statement, question, epiphany, and fear.
It took me 2 days to process my experience and this is what I deducted.
…………………………………
I was a little confused with the process of the graduate forum. So, I signed into a “workshop” which I was not prepare to undertake.
What I deducted from my inner self was quite frightening.
I saw myself! With all the ugly details and ego.
Of course I ran to hide from the world and myself…..
So, the questions….
Does everyone come to this realization?
If so, how does one push through?
For me pushing through my ego is quite shameful and embarrassing. This ego that lives within has a name: PTSD, the beast. It fights others with words to maintain it’s survival.
How does Kabu or does it…deal with this type of behavior?
I see my truth on the other side of the veil, but have never had anyone to stand with me as I push through…and I’ve always given myself an excuse to be a victim.
So, AGAIN I am at this crossroad.
How does one shed an Ego that is BIGGER than life itself. One that fights viciously to stay Alive?
Because it is clear to me that I am at a place of change or go home and I prefer not to go home!
Thanks

Chris – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Beverly,
Everyone has different flavors along the way, but of course the common discernment is that the ego certainly rules us and aims us only towards ourselves all the time. This is kind of a general statement, but truly this is all you need in order to ask for correction. As long as your in an environment that will help you “find your footing” you’ll see where you need to put the effort. The effort is never against the ego since we are certainly powerless against it.
It’s not about shedding the ego like you mentioned, but more correctly it’s using the ego correctly. When the Creator reveals your nature to you, what do you do? If you get rid of it, you have no need for the Creator…
Thanks!
