I guess I know how to make money easily.., it’s in the book of proverbs:
Eat and drink less
Sleep less
Do not love wine and oil (I have a feeling they reverse this so that love oil and wine is the correct one possibly)
Be diligent
Give to others
Do not slumber and clasps/fold hands
And do not love mirth

Mrc,
Midrash is not something we study. Hence, commenting on it would only cause confusion.

Is the nation of Israel the biggest egoist or the altruist..?
- April 29, 2022 at 3:30 pm EDT #287622Joseph – KabU InstructorModerator
Mrc,
If you are referring to the corporeal land of Israel, then within that nation there are those whose point in the heart has already been awakened, and those in whom it is still dormant. By default, those who are brought to the path have a greater ego. It is specifically the development of one’s egoism that prepares one to receive spiritual discernments. This is how the system works where we cannot build spirituality if not on top of our growing egoism.

Is sefer Bahir an authentic Kabbalah book..?
- April 29, 2022 at 3:20 pm EDT #287620Joseph – KabU InstructorModerator
Mrc,
I have never heard of this book. The authentic source texts upon which this Kabbalistic group are built on are Baal HaSulam and the Rabash. Besides this, a person doesn’t need anything.

Is it a kabbalistic exercise to try to “love” other even so that we know that we can’t before crossing the Machsom..?
- April 29, 2022 at 3:18 pm EDT #287619Joseph – KabU InstructorModerator
Mrc,
Yes, we are told in advance that we cannot love the friends. We are obligated to try, and from the efforts a prayer is born for help from the Creator. But these exercises should be done together with those here in this controlled environment. Regarding the rest of the world, for now, the advice is to behave as everyone else–with kindness, respect, etc.

It’s written in proverbs that if when in youth doesn’t being Godly then later God will mock and laughed at our misfortune etc..? Is there hope about this, possibly I’m in this situation 😟

Hi Mrc,
The Kabbalists tell us that the Creator only does that which is for the good of the created beings. Although we have yet to discover this, we must believe it is so, and go by the words of the sages.
