Many thanks Tony for your VERY useful & illuminating lessons!

As we were “downloaded” or “casted” to our “earthly projected reality,” did other peer or more advanced “points in the heart” were allocated in other similar realities?

      Greetings from Cancún México.

      Shalom!

        Hi Carlos Morthera,

All the points in the heart are in one system, like cells within a single body, or like an 8 billion piece jigsaw puzzle. In this system, all the pieces are equal and important. Even if a single piece is missing, the whole puzzle is incomplete. So it’s not like there are more advanced or less advanced points in the heart. Rather, there is a certain process by which this system develops.

It’s like building a large jigsaw puzzle. First you start with all the corner pieces, and only then do you gradually work your way to the center. So those that received awakened points in the hearts are like those corner pieces of the puzzle that need to start the whole process. Later on, due to their good work, they pave the way for the rest of the world to join this process.

      カバラをいちから学ばせていただきまして感謝致します。スピリチュアルな発達のはしごとは、この地とスピリチュアルな世界をつなぐものなのでしょうか?

        Google translation of the question:

Thank you for letting me learn Kabbalah from scratch. Is the ladder of spiritual development the link between this earth and the spiritual world?

        ___________________

Yes, you can say that. But keep in mind that the ladder is not a physical ladder, but one of qualities. Climbing the ladder means attaining higher qualities of love and bestowal, while descending the ladder means the opposite, revealing higher levels of egoism.

Which world did Abraham live in? Was it Atzilut?

      • #320165

        Hi Julia,

All the Kabbalists started out just like any one of us, living in this world. At a certain point their points in the heart awakened, they began their spiritual search, and eventually reached spiritual attainment. But even after attaining spirituality for the first time, Kabbalists continue to exist on the level of this world throughout the entire spiritual ladder of development. This is because this world is a necessary starting point for attaining any spiritual degree.

Thank you for the explanation. Could you please help me further? If all the Kabbalists started in this world, then what this descending line in the picture represents (from Adam to Rashbi)? I thought it represented the different words they lived in, but if all of them lived in our world than I am confused.

          Hi Julia,

The graph represents the process of spiritual development. Spiritual development depends on the ego. The bigger the ego, the higher the level of spirituality that we can attain once we correct it. Going down means that more egoism is revealed. Going up means that a higher level of bestowal is achieved, or in other words more corrections take place over the ego.

Check out this blog post from Rav Laitman for more details: https://laitman.com/2015/09/where-is-the-upper-world/

Why were those Kabbalists depicted as going down on that graph? Because they started out with a very small level of ego and as they developed they began to discover greater and courser levels of egoism.
