I don’t really understand how I can develop my sixth sense or how I will recognize that I am doing things right –

Hi Cyndi,
The sixth sense is felt in the desire to bestow. But since our nature is completely opposite to bestowal, meaning pure egoism, this nature does not allow us to feel that desire to bestow. We first need to correct that nature. But if this is our nature, how can we change it? Just like a PC cannot just reprogram itself to run as a Mac, we too cannot just change our own nature. We need outside help for that. This help comes to me from the force of the light. The light is a spiritual force that has the ability to change our nature. Our entire work is essentially to extract more and more of the light, especially during the Kabbalistic studies, and it does all the rest. Meaning that it will gradually correct us more and more until we begin to feel that desire to bestow and in that desire begin to reveal the Creator.

Thank you for the answer.
I understood we need the Light to help the transformation. but may I ask two questions:
1. I think one reason that I don’t always bestowing is because I feel I don’t have. I don’t have the thing to share, or I don’t know the solution for that situation so don’t know what to share. This points me to the main point that I’m confused throughout the courses: if we are now already a shattered vessel after the 4phases of creation, can we still have something to actually bestow? Or we bestow in intention (action-wise we keep stay usual) ,and through the intention we gain surrounding Light?
Many thanks @albert

Hi Sarah,
We need both an action and an intention. An action by itself is not enough. This follows what the Kabbalists tell us that “an action without an intention is like a body without a soul”. On the other hand just an intention is also not enough. An intention by itself without an action is detached from reality and has no effect. So we need both.
Keep in mind that the spiritual work of bestowal that we’re learning about here is something that we practice only with other points in the heart in the Kabbalistic group. If you practice this anywhere else, in the best case scenario you’ll build some good relationships, in the worst case, people will think you’re weird or try to take advantage of you. But either way it will not lead to the revelation of the Creator. So generally with the rest of the world it’s best to just act normal, like everyone else. Meaning don’t make a saint of yourself and at the same time don’t cause harm to others, but just act the way normal people act there.
But is there something we can actually bestow within the Kabbalistic group? Yes. If a person has a point in the heart and we help them realize that point, then we are bestowing to them. So supporting each other on the spiritual path is how we bestow. We’ll learn how to do this practically in the more advanced lessons.

Is the advanced Kabbalist ever aware of the impact of their own personal corrections? Can they see or sense the benefit of their correction spread through all other soul fragments?

Hi Lora,
Yes, it’s possible. Rabash for example would periodically listen to the news on the radio to get a feel for how the world is changing relative to his spiritual work.
Another example is Rav Laitman. We could all see the results of his work because we are all essentially the results of his work. He was just one person who began to widely disseminate the wisdom of Kabbalah and now there are millions of students around the world that are studying it.

This is interesting question I am looking forward for the answers as well ☺️
Add on question is, is there any definition of a kabbalist, or even a tzadikim actually. How can we define if a person studied enough already ,or everyone studying already is a kabbalist?

Hi Sarah,
1. A righteous (tsadik in Hebrew) comes from the Hebrew word “to justify” (lehatsdik). Meaning a righteous is someone that is able to fully justify the Creator’s providence over the world.
2. A Kabbalist is one that has made INTERNAL corrections over his egoistic desire and as a result has become similar to the Creator and revealed Him in practice, at least to some extent. All of this is internal.
Externally there is no way to discern if a person is a Kabbalist or not. Meaning such a person can be a man or a woman, lives a very normal life, works, takes care of his/her family, health, etc. Meaning there is no dress code or rituals or anything external by which we can discern that a person is a Kabbalist.
3. We study not in order to learn but as a means to extract the light by which we can correct our egoistic nature. This continues until we correct all 125 degrees and reach the state of Gmar Tikkun (the final correction).

What I am trying to wrap my head around there’s nothing outside of me it is only a reflection in the mirror of my mind from the upper worlds my mind only gets in the way but I believe with my heart so I know this is true there’s something inside me that confirms the truth when it is spoken to me and I know in love that this is my creator that spark last sabbat my grandson of 5 years old moved in with me I am 59 years old and he is kind of a wild card but he acts very well with Grandpa my point is I really don’t know what I’m doing all I can do is be guided by love and give him what he needs and with saying that I am glad he is in the mirror in my head.

Hi William,
Yes, the world is a reflection of ourselves. Just keep in mind that our attitude of love is an internal matter. Externally we still exist on the level of this world and still need to carry out the normal actions of this world. For example, if someone is trying to hurt me, I still need to stop them, defend myself, and call the cops. If I lose my job, I still need to go out and actually search for a job. If I’m sick, I still need to go to a doctor, take some medicine, etc.
In other words, our internal attitude to what is happening should not cancel out any of the normal actions that we need to take in life. It’s important to maintain this balance in our internal and external work. We’ll learn more about these things throughout our studies.

I can relate to lacking conscious awareness at one time and looking back I can see how suffering pushed me to the path I am currently on now. Once I shifted to a state of conscious awareness I began to see the difference in the forces that were guiding my development prior compared to how the process began to take on a faster and smoother transformation as I now could work with the change cause I could now sense a higher plan .

i am very lost, if the creator controls evrything, why are we even here?
- January 1, 2023 at 12:55 pm EST #307913Albert – KabU InstructorModerator
Hi Zeinab,
We are here because we don’t want to develop simply like robots, which were programmed to act a certain way and they act that way. Although we have a certain ingrained programming (the desire to receive), through the process of developing on the level of our world, we learn how to rise above that programming, and reach freedom from it. This is why we are here.
Furthermore, the sages tell us that “it is not for you to complete the work, and you are not free to idle away from it.” Meaning that although the Creator controls everything and does all the work, it’s still up to us to build a desire for Him to help us make this change. Without this type of work, we would be no different than robots.
We’ll learn about this principle in the more advanced lessons, in the meantime, check out this blog post from Rav Laitman: https://laitman.com/2010/07/its-not-for-you-to-complete-the-work-look-for-the-creator/
