SherryParticipantI’m having difficulty with the concept of murder or rape or pedophelia and any horrible acts of humans upon other humans as being anything but evil. I really need help with this area.

Albert – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Sherry,
We learn from the Kabbalists that every single moment comes to us directly from the Creator, this is called “there is none else besides Him”. Furthermore, they also say that He is the “good that does good”. Meaning that every moment He is sending us nothing but goodness. But why then don’t we see this in our world? Why don’t we feel everything that is happening as something good?
This is because our world is governed by our egoistic nature. This egoistic nature is opposite to the Creator’s nature. Because of that, it inverts the Creator’s goodness into something bad. It’s just like multiplying numbers: a positive times a negative equals negative.
So as long as we remain within this egoistic nature, we will continue to see and feel more suffering and horrors in the world. But if we correct our nature to be similar to the Creator’s nature, then we will reveal the true reality in which only goodness exists, and our previous egoistic state would appear as nothing more than a dream.

SherryParticipantI probably have many questions but they are brewing at the moment. I just really want to thank the instructors for the lessons and the graphics and their knowledge and wisdom and desire to teach us such deep and inspiring and mind blowing lessons. I take so many notes and listen to all the videos and read the books but somehow I get confused when test taking time comes so I really have to work on that part. Each level of coursework just wants to make me know more and more.

Albert – KabU InstructorModeratorGoogle translate of the question: What is a Masach screen?
_________
Hello,
The screen (masach in Hebrew) is the intention that is placed over the desire. It’s the calculation of how much the desire can receive in order to bestow.

VeraParticipantIf I understood correctly, one of the mostvimportant parts when we start to study Torah, to respect the mitzvot, is the right intention, as well as the prayer. Could you please explain a little more in detail how would the right intention should be formulated for example when I start to study Torah or other kabbalistic books, or accomplish mitzvot? Thank you!

Albert – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Vera,
We learn from the shattering of the system of Adam HaRishon that the only thing that is broken in the ENTIRE system of creation are the proper connections between people. So all of our actions need to be aimed at returning that system to a state of connection, all the way until we reach complete love between all the parts. This is why Kabbalists tell us that the main commandment is “love your friend as yourself”.

Steve MileyParticipantI must admit, when I first started this course, I thought the forum chat room thing was kind of silly, now I think it’s one of the most interesting parts of the entire course. I don’t really have a question so much is just a statement the whole screen thing. It’s kind of confusing however, I figure my questions of it will probably get answered if I’m patient and keep on Truckin with the course. Thank you so much . instructors for your insight and just as importantly, thank the rest of you for your interesting questions I really am beginning to feel that we are sort of a family here.
