Dear friends,Thanks to KabU, I realize that I can’t go out of my desire to receive pleasure. I feel that I actually don’t see my relatives or my friends “by themselves”, but only regarding what good they give me or make me feel. The same regarding the Creator: I can’t feel Him as Him, only if He gives me good sensations, only if I feel Him giving me confidence, strength, forgiveness… I can’t see out of it, I can only feel my desire to experience pleasure and my relationships and my reactions to the given situations are measured only in comparison with how they make me feel, if they give me pleasure and satisfaction or the contrary.
I see the difference between what the others may do and my evaluation of their behavior. I can see that I may get upset at their actions, but I can’t be sure of what their intention was, I am only reacting to the pleasure I was expecting to get from them, or the quietness I think that they are taking away from me. So I can’t be sure anymore that I am understanding what is “really” happening.
So my “guiding system” is useful to drive me to where I think I can get more pleasure/avoid pain, but it is not appropriate to know people, God or the purpose in every situation of my life.
So what is the point of reacting and defending my own interests?
To know this helps me to wait and to not judge what I see. I may be wrong in my conclusions.
The same applies to my communication acts: I only explain how I feel regarding the events, how they make me feel. So my mind is inside the box.
I think that through joining the group we can build together that spiritual device (the kli) that will enable us to rise above our egoistic perception, by learning to feel the other friend’s wishes and needs as mine, and attracting the Light of correction upon us by the work in the group.

Since we are One, helping the others automatically advances myself.  The light engulfs us all.

To advance an collective approach is needed. As individuals only we can’t advance in the direction of correction.

It probably means that “I” am not really I, such that my true “I” should be re-centered from the corporeal center of gravity that “I” have mistakenly understood to me “myself” all my life, to the collective body of the friends (which I assume is identical to what is called a “partzuf”).

By helping others we increase the size of the kli, support the emergence of the point in the heart,

and attract the light that reforms.

Because we are in a interconnected system where there is no separation, therefore by helping each other we all rise together to the occasion. The difference being we are making the conscious effort and choice through our choice of the right environment. To help others on the spiritual path by having their desires become ours because we are not separate.
