Preparation Question: Our entire work in Kabbalah is only to attract the light that reforms. By this we receive everything we need for our advancement. Furthermore, I’m told that if I will help the others, I will advance myself even more towards spirituality. How does this work? What does it mean to help the others, those with the point in the heart, on the spiritual path?

To help others with The point in the heart on a spiritual path is probably my presence in the group. And be a listener, to be participating, not missing our meetings so to attract The Surrounding Light.

The others are not only a form of the “mirror” but aspects of self. Service to others is service to self – “None other than Him”.

It’s a blessing when God gives us the opportunity to with hold Gods’ deviance purpose for others or at least help others to success. Not in a negative way but in light.

Still confused I am when you say : love your neighbor  as yourself. This contradiction , that I  love myself and being altruistic  meanwhile. What’s egoism than?

Could it be that I need to take care for my self and being  responsible for me and the other? I see it too much physically. I don’t know how to see it differently…

We’re to connect with others by incorporating their desires as our desires, seeing them not as separate but as ourself. This correction through connection reveals the Creator between us and draws the Light that reforms. This is the practical means by which we begin to love our neighbor as ourself.

On one level it is the “others” in your group. You are working with the others in your group to mutual benefit. In order for the entire group to grow. On another level it is “all” others. What the group is doing will benefit all of mankind.
