Preparation Question: Our entire work in Kabbalah is only to attract the light that reforms. By this we receive everything we need for our advancement. Furthermore, I’m told that if I will help the others, I will advance myself even more towards spirituality. How does this work? What does it mean to help the others, those with the point in the heart, on the spiritual path?

To advance myself toward spirituality through helping others, I need to direct my intentions and my love toward the needs of my friend(s) in the Ten; in doing so I receive to bestow and attract the light that reforms.

We learn from each other, our combined desire attracts the light

By helping the others, we are not only helping someone outside of ourselves, but we are helping our collective soul.

I think it all boils down to treat others as you would treat yourself. When you do that you are always going to be kind and loving. As we know we are one, so when we help others we are helping ourselves too. When we help others without excepting anything we shift from receiving to bestow which is the thing that we strive to do.

By myself, I am nothing but a shattered piece with a point in the heart. My desire alone is not enough. I need other people because we need to put ourselves back together to rebuild what was created before we descended. If I help others, that point becomes larger, the desire is enhanced, the stronger the reflected light will be, the more joy we can give our creator. Like it says in Nehamiah 8:10 …The joy of the Lord is my strength. It is his joy, not mine that is the most important, and it can only be given with the intention of the group.

In the sense of attracting reforming light, working in a group is much more efficient. So we work together. I help others and others help me. We pray together for example. So we uncover the connection between us
