      Imagine that you are a happy leg, the last leg on one side of a giant centipede, happily floating in space. You are just a little leg, that is all … but you are aware of your existence. Despite the fact that you are just a leg, you insist that you exist, separate from the consciousness of the centipede that is driving you (and your fellow legs). Now imagine giving your existence to the whole of the centipede — your small existence as a tiny leg is no longer as desirable as being part of the centipede, because it truly feels GOOD and GREATER … and now you have a say in where we are heading.

      it would be nice to obtain some examples from real life (not metaphors … but actual examples) of a will to receive that is equivalent to the will to bestow
