Love thy neighbor as I love myself.

Transitioning from a self-centered perception of reality to one grounded in altruism begins with loving your friends as yourself while in a Kabbalistic  environment with the spiritual values of connection, unity and bestowal.

To transition from a self-centered perception of reality to one grounded in altruism is to embody the ideal of “love thy neighbor as thyself” which is not as easy as it sounds.

It entails the desire to bestow. Asking the creator for a need to give to those around you, and to receive with the intention of bestowal from the creator.

Transitioning from a self-centered perception of reality to that of one grounded in altruism would entail annulling oneself and setting the intention toward the desires of others, such as others’ desire for adhesion to the Creator. In other words, reducing one’s will to receive for oneself in order to receive on behalf of others (bestowing). I’m not sure I’m articulating what I’m trying to say correctly…

It would entail the ability to connect my desires to the desires of others above my ego-self.
