I was inspired by fact that we are connected from one root even though we appear separate corporially,and by showing love and unity to our friends we reach to realize and feel this connection.
I personally is a small world and all that I experience ,see or feel is just a projection of my soul and I need to correct myself to perceive everything good as He is good that does good to us.
I wish my fellow students success in their spiritual journey full of light , love and connection.
What most inspired me in the course?
The importance of connection with the friends. The workshop gives us the opportunity to connect with one another. However, there are rules to make the workshop harmonious and productive for everyone. (1) Come with an open heart/come ready to receive. In other words come with a prayer in our heart (2) Prepare our desire to give to others (3) arrive with a soft attitude.
What have I learned about myself in the process?
I have learned that I need to get out of my own way. The ego is our nature. Although we cannot kill it we can learn the best and wisest way to use our ego to progress toward spirituality.
What do I wish for my fellow students in their spiritual development?
I wish that my fellow students would develop the one heart and to move closer to the upper force. I also pray that we all truly connect in love and understand that our intentions draw the light. The right intention helps us to receive the light.The greatest inspiration for me came at the end of the course discussion on movement between the left and the right via restriction and how the reforming light brings one to the middle where the light is revealed in the connection with others. The lesson hit at the right time looking ahead to the Kabu retreat in just a few days when I will travel to the Netherlands to put this into practice and from there continuing the study of Kabbalah in the graduate program.
What most inspired me about the course was all of the clarification on life matters, spiritual matters, and the peek into the essence of the Creator. It was refreshing to know how we were created into these flawed human beings and that I’m not going to burn in hell, or disappoint the man in the sky. Correction is easier to digest.
I’ve learned that I am entirely self-motivated. That I am judgemental, even if I am only saying a portion of it out loud. It’s actually frustrating to learn that on my own I really I feel out of control when it comes to my desires. It’s like when I was a kid and the Christmas catalogs would come out. I would go through the entire thing circling all of the things that I wanted. Did that girl ever grow out of that?
I wish for my fellow students community, a deep relationship with the Creator, a growing sense of love in the point of their heart, and a part of the growing network of Kabbalists.
Egoism, reception and bestowal are the most important concepts that I have learned. Putting them into practice with the Friends is what I hope to experience along with my fellow students or else there was no point to the past five months. I’ll be continuing with the Year Membership and I hope to see everyone there in the Ten
What has been most inspiring for me is the idea that “there is none other than the Creator” and his relationship to me as His creation. Everything from the Big Bang ‘til now is within me, and I am within it. All good and evil comes from my own intentions and desires, my own ego, and the idea that the Creator wants His creation to know Him and equalize with Him in form is an exciting but seemingly unrealistic goal. Only the wisest Creator could know how to reach this end. I wish for my fellow students to prepare themselves for the Creator’s plan.
