The teaching that I remember resonated most clearly with me was the story of the host and the supper he had prepared for his friend. I found it a very clear and beautiful way to express a way to live and generate intentions with an unselfish intent, aimed towards the good of others and the whole. I also related to the teaching of mitzvot, the way to strive to transform every day self-centered actions by finding the will of the Creator for us in each of them and which parts of those situations and actions that it’s our responsibility to work on and transform.
I expect in the coming course to build a deeper understanding and connection with the Bnei Baruch tradition and Kabbalah and to encounter more mitzvot opportunities through this work.
My best experience was the realization that there is a creator and I am part of a creature. I expect to continue to grow my understanding about the relationship between the creator and my self. Understanding Concealed vs. revealed was awesome. I hope to gain a deeper understanding of that. Also, the true understanding of what intention really means.
I enjoyed the readings, the videos and the warmth of the group. These are all putting words to feelings I have had for a long time; that desire to understand why I’m here, who I really am and most important, who sent me and who made me? As I get older, the world actually makes less and less sense. There’s a lot that’s good, but so many seemingly pointless obstacles. So much disconnection. So many distractions. So many dead ends in the search for truth. Love became the least common denominator and I could vaguely trace the source to a Creator but I didn’t have words. It certainly feels much more important than I realized in my youth, but what is love exactly? Kabbalah Revealed Part 1 lays out a quite plausible context for it all. The course revealed that that feeling is called “The Point In The Heart” and I hung my hat on that as I prayed for help to learn the next lesson in front of me. As I absorbed lessons, my appetite for understanding developed along with an appetite for union with the Creator. I now understand these two appetites are actually fundamental pillars that balance the middle path. What seemed strange at first (Kli’s, lights, evolution of phases of development, concealment and much more) slowly began to look connected. I can now see enough to keep building.
learning and understanding the different levels of lights(soul integration). The more we go up the ladder of spiritual attainment. The more are soul expands and leads us to the ultimate goal for creation. The equivalent of form to the Creator. I expect to learn about practical Kabbalah and how to connect it with everyday life situations.
