I would probably use some core principals and ask the students to take them to heart.
– We may not be equal, but we are equally worthy.
– There is no such thing as a “stupid question”.
– Consider it to be an honor (and act accordingly), if a fellow student needs your help.
– If you are stuck, know that you can rely on your fellow students.
– There should be as manny group tasks as possible (maybe abandon any individal grading).

I can’t say how most people would react to this condition. I will guess that being ignored will lean towards shredded because the two seem the most similar to me, however the ignored one is the most “empty” one…
