ParticipantMy best experience from the previous course was receiving strangely familiar information and understanding myself and my life experiences a little better. I expect to connect with others on the kabbalistic path and to deepen my connection to the creator.
February 23, 2025 at 2:12 pm EST in reply to: Preparation Question: Our entire work in Kabbalah is only to attract the light that reforms. By this we receive everything we need for our advancement. Furthermore, I’m told that if I will help the others, I will advance myself even more towards spirituality. How does this work? What does it mean to help the others, those with the point in the heart, on the spiritual path? #426921Amy
ParticipantLove thy neighbour as thy self. Help thy neighbour as thy self. Placing the others development above my own is altruistic in nature and brings us closer to equivalence of form with the creator. Further, the spiritual advancement of oneself causes the development of others, and the reverse is true too. We all share a common soul. Correction of the common soul is the ultimate goal.

ParticipantWe can fortify our connection with the illuminating force by asking for correction (using our intention) thereby becoming increasingly more like the creator. Also, becoming more aware of our intentions in our thoughts and actions, identifying our egoistic nature and rising above it. We can amplify its transformative influence through our study, reading kabbalistic texts and seeking a supportive environment where we can accelerate our development.
February 11, 2025 at 2:43 pm EST in reply to: Preparation Prompt: What does transitioning from a self-centered perception of reality to one grounded in altruism entail? #425722Amy
ParticipantIt entails transcending the ego (i.e. the will to receive). We ask the light to correct us which brings us closer to equivalence of form with the creator, until we achieve our final correction. At this point we know and perceive others as ourselves, as we share a common soul (outside time and space). Thus we will have an altruistic perception of reality, loving thy neighbour as thyself, for you are one with your neighbour, sharing a common soul.
February 5, 2025 at 2:19 pm EST in reply to: Preparation Question: Congratulations on progressing through the intermediary stages of your Kabbalah learning by staring this new course! Since the wisdom of Kabbalah deals with developing our precious eternal part—the soul—it is important to take a moment to note your expectations from this stage of your journey, and later check back and see what aligned with or differed from your expectations, and how you might’ve changed in the process: What do you hope to get out of this course you’re now starting? #423435Amy
ParticipantI hope to obtain greater understanding of this system of things through being more like the creator.

ParticipantMy best experience from the previous course was developing an increasing relationship with the creator and gaining more awareness over my intentions and attitudes towards others. It is helping me to be a better person. I have had questions for many years about my personal experiences, and I am starting to understand them more. From this course, I expect to learn about deepening my connection with others and the creator, with the ultimate goal of becoming one with the creator.
