What do I have to do to make myself a Rav? 1. “Love thy friend as thyself,” 2. Annul oneself, 3. Work towards Dvekut with the Creator, 4. Work to change one’s egoism to altruism, 5. Read, study, watch videos, pray each day, forever, 6. Be a (Good Deed) person which is = intention for the sake of the Creator to bestow to the Creator, 7. Accept and enjoy Creator’s Light and pleasure for HIS sake (only), 8. Build one’s desire to have adhesion with the Creator then build the desire to bestow, 9. Learn to ask the Creator for help then listen and learn from the Creator, 10. Commitment for eternity (Ein Sof).

We are like children, babies, where we need to gradually learn right from wrong and grow into the knowledge of the world, our corporeal world. So it is in the spiritual perception given to us gradually where the Creator is hidden from us until we are ready to receive His Light and pleasures. To fully understand and enjoy the Creator we must be ready to develop our point in the heart.

Gianni, I am interested in continuing my studies in Kabbalah with the Blueprint of Creation. Interesting topic and I am eager to hear your teachings.

Assignment: Concerning the importance of friends. (E#1) The phrase that inspired me: “…when the reforming light comes to me it brings me closer to the friends, I begin to feel Him close to me…” Our group has been meeting twice a week for several weeks. Each time we meet I feel stronger, closer, and more loving toward them. It is a genuine feeling of love. I want only their happiness, their connection, and that they will succeed in their goals. But I have also discovered something interesting as I progress in our struggle to keep up with the Kabbalah courses; besides my closeness to my Kabbalah friends, I have found that I can tolerate my corporeal family without anger or being upset with anyone anymore. I am showing them more love as well.

I love reading other students responses to your question. They all have that point-in-the-heart answers. But even better, we can see their connection by their responses. “Beautiful!”

In my studies in the Kabbalah courses I’ve learned that a group environment is the method that will connect us all to one another. I am a novice student and have not fully connected with anyone in any group to attest to this validation. However, with my continued endeavor to continue on this path, I have personally felt changes. Yes, changes in my thoughts and feelings. I am a hopeful student who is anxious to pursue these new changes in thoughts and feelings.

I also was a child when I dreamed that there must be more. I was reared in the Catholic environment by Nuns. The nuns didn’t like my questions. I always had more questions. My mother had a unique psychic gift and would answer many questions, but she didn’t have all the answers that I needed. At age 17 I had a life and death incident where I was saved and this incident created another surge of curiosity for the need to learn more. That drive to find something more brought me to this level. Now, I hope to learn more through Kabbalah.
