Moreover, it’s said that aiding others accelerates our own spiritual ascent. How does this dynamic operate? What does supporting fellow seekers with a spiritual inclination entail? #321701AnnmarieParticipant
If they can all connect together, I would think that the feeling would be vibrational, a feeling of revelation, and very exciting. However, if one has not been able to cross the line from this world to the upper world, I would imagine it would be depressing, maybe a bit sad. The feeling for joy for the others would be delightful and supportive for their achievement.
AnnmarieParticipantForgive me for posting to many times, but my lesson preparation bullet will not show that I have completed this step.
AnnmarieParticipantI don’t believe that I am ready to spread the word of Kabbalah just yet. I am still trying to fully understand the concepts and I am trying to get a feel for the Science of Kabbalah. However, I am very much interested in continuing my studies in Kabbalah.
AnnmarieParticipantOur work with the light that reforms, for me, it is the constant reading of the books that teach. I also read the answers given by the other students and their response lets me know that I am in tune with them. I feel what they are relating, or I try to relate to their experiences. Thank you.
Strengthening the reforming light comes from connecting with out students. I feel and think I am struggling along with my fellow students. We have not, yet, reached our goals of correction or we would be like our teachers. However, I believe that the workshop connection that is given to us is a way to reform the light. I attended my first workshop recently and instantly felt love for all my fellow students, and the remarkable response was that I FELT an energy (Love) from them via the Zoom. Now that to me is strength in the influence of the reforming light.
May 21, 2023 at 8:57 pm EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: What does it mean to connect with others? In what desire are we connected? #320542AnnmarieParticipant1. To shift from an egoistic perception of reality to a perception based on bestowal one must want to please the Creator more than the desire to please oneself. However, one may keep the desire to receive, but the desire to receive must be for the pleasure of the Creator (therefore one is now in bestowal). When one wants to receive for the “sake of the Creator”, the receiving of pleasure for the sake of the Creator has changed egoism to altruism.
2. To connect to others is to work with a Kabbalist group to develop an altruistic point-of-view for one’s friends desires (in the group) without contemplating on one’s own desires. This is a desire of bestowal which is similar to the Creator.
May 14, 2023 at 1:29 pm EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: Starting a new course in Kabbalah is similar to a fetus moving on to a new trimester. The warm and fulfilling womb is still the same, but the desire and needs of the future human are evolving. Before we start the first week let’s set our expectations. How do we want the womb (Light) to influence and evolve us? What do we desire to achieve in this semester? #320087AnnmarieParticipantI want to be able to recognize my feelings so that I know when the LIGHT has influenced me. I believe that I have felt the LIGHT before since I have a wonderful life: a great marriage, sons, grandchildren, and none have any major illnesses. God (Creator) has already blessed me. However, now my desire to connect to the Creator has blossomed to an ambitious endeavor. My desire in this course is to get closer to the Creator to feel HIS presence. I think that I may still be in the receiving attribute, but I realize and understand that a group success is beneficial for all the world to receive. My desire is to learn to bestow always for the “Sake of the Creator”.
