Work on changing my intention
Dr JimParticipantNothing ‘smart’ to say. I am somewhat overawed. Do I understand any of this? Dare I commit to it? Yet I feel so compelled. Should that be ‘impelled’?
Love the fact I am not alone.
December 7, 2022 at 6:30 pm EST in reply to: Preparation Question: In what way have I gained a deeper understanding of my life and of the forces working in the world? #306044Dr JimParticipantI better understand why no matter what I do or what I acquire, I still feel unfulfilled. But I now know that I am not unique in this.
I also understand that there is a way back, But I don’t quite know yet how to take that first step unless perhaps I already have.
November 30, 2022 at 2:32 pm EST in reply to: Preparation Question: To what perception of reality do we want the study of Kabbalah to lead us? #305370Dr JimParticipantTo lead us to the ‘Reality’ beyond even any limited individual, social, cultural, racial, even human perception of what it might be.
November 22, 2022 at 7:46 am EST in reply to: Preparation Question: What do you expect from the lesson? What do you desire to achieve from it? #304826Dr JimParticipantFrom this Lesson, I wish to gain an overview of how I might broaden and deepen my perspective on life through Kabbalah such that I feel more in control, more purposeful.
Dr JimParticipantHello Everyone,
My name is Jim and I live in North Wales in the UK. I have flirted with a variety of spiritual and religious paths, all seemingly having the same underlying truths beneath the man-made veils which most-times obscure them. In all honesty, I haven’t put much into practice and I live a confused and confusing existence like so many others.
However, I have frequently come across links and references to Kabbalah of which I am quite ignorant. I’m looking at this as an opportunity to make some spiritual progress in understanding who I am and my reason for being here. That’s it for now.
Looking forward to engaging in the course, with tutors and fellow students.
