Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorOther than being wrong about everything, you’re not missing anything. I’m kidding – you’ve just identified a few things that every beginner feels and questions, at some level. These aren’t the only doubts you’re going to have, nor even the biggest ones. About it being a science, it’s simply not knowing where one is in the experiment. About it being religious or not, it’s exactly the quantum aspect of it, where there’s always two levels to things, which contradict one another, yet coexist. About money, what I know is that Kabbalists never gave free trials like we do here (only to follow internet norms and expectations). Instead, they demanded a large amount of money the moment a student walked through the door (even if after taking their money they’d throw it out into the street). And that’s because of how we’re built on the inside, though we don’t know this about ourselves, and the limitations in us when we receive something for free or at a discount. So, here are some hints, but each one needs a long time to unfold. Not just in explanation but in time required for it to sink in. Because time is needed, whether we like it or not, Kabbalists first advice is always, “the door is open, both to come and to leave.” And there are many ways to the place, and one studies where his heart desires. This isn’t to be dismissive but to inform the student that he has to choose a place of study that suits him, check it, and after he checks, he has to remain in it, despite doubts that subsequently arise, until he reaches the goal. When we dwell on this matter we’ll find that rationally there’s no other choice.
Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorIt could be from an individual if they have true spiritual feelings. But there’s also a story that Baal Shem Tov paid a drunk klezmer musician on the street to play for him, to uplift his spirits, so from slightly uplifted spirits he could begin more correct internal work. We can use the music of our friends all the more so, without overthinking it.
Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorThe Reshimot define the future form. For example, we’re in a broken perception. Its unity is what’s ahead for us. The form of that unity is predefined. There are better and worse ways to realize the Reshimot. If it lands on us, it’s horrible. If we run toward connection, it’s wonderful. The Surrounding Light we activate brings it about optimally.
Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorAnything one does with their biological body has nothing to do with spirituality. I can replace my heart with a pig heart. It’s not eternal, it’s playing with the elements of the complete imagination that I’m having and think is real. It has no effect except the time and attention I’m spending on imaginary things.
Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorWe can find any number we want, depending how we count. For example, 12 partzufim in Atzilut.

We need to “express our inner ‘moo’.” The one that comes from our Point in the Heart, as removed as possible from our other inclinations.
The essence of our music, though it lacks the depth of a Baal HaSulam piece, written from the heights of the spiritual world – is that we do it together, there’s no star, it’s an expression of the love between the friends, their nullification to one another, that it’s only about this love between us, and that when the friends hear it, it’s easy for them to sing along. Baal HaSulam song lyrics are ‘li li li li…” and that’s actually great.
