Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorOhr Hochma is the Light of the Purpose of Creation; Ohr Hassidim is the Light of the correction of Creation – the pleasure of being empty, because if I’m empty I’m less opposite to the Upper Light, which is bestowing. At least if I’m empty it’s as if I’m not receiving. Bina is all Hassidim, Hocham is all Light of Hochma, so of course these are opposite feelings.
Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorOnly the Light can do a spiritual thing. Our job is to draw the Light.
Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorNo, and the problem here is that Faith Above Reason is not a resource that we have available to us. It’s just unimaginable. Like if we went back to a world of pre-multicellular organisms and tried to explain what it would be like for them to unite into a body and how opposite that experience would be to what they’re used to. We just need to make efforts in this direction and the Light will impart new qualities to us.
Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorAdding to connection every time I feel indifferent to it or inclined to move away from connection. Do the opposite. This is already work in distinguishing two inclinations.
Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorI’m not sure it’s exactly by suppressing the ego, but in a manner of speaking, yes, I need to not allow my ego to jump and express itself. I don’t want to feed it anything. This, by itself, is already an exercise in differentiating my ego from my inclinations in my Point in the Heart. I want to permit only thoughts and actions that bring us closer to connection, and certainly disallow actions that bring me further away from connection. We don’t need to make it more complicated or mix in other concepts. This is the work that is in front of us.

Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorOur “advancement” in our world is more correctly an indication of the changes we need to go through now, and in the end, when we see ourselves in a few years we’ll see that we have not advanced since this world was made not for us to discover continents and technology, but to use this reality as a stair to the Upper World. We’ll realize that we’re medieval, stunted, brutes and that all the true advancement is ahead of us.
No, we don’t have something like that in the wisdom of Kabbalah, to write down our dreams. Our dreams are simply the filing of files into a filing cabinet when during the day I did not know how to organize correctly the various stimuli in my experience – meaning in a spiritual manner. Therefore, I don’t need to delve my dreams to advance spiritually.
