    Hi Patricia,

No, we shouldn’t make such calculations. First of all, I can’t really tell what my friends’ states are. Do I already know what spiritual attainment looks like on the outside? You can’t tell. But, as I wrote to the friend above, however the friends appear to me I can nevertheless use as the fulcrum for prayer that I will see them in a perfect, connected state. Their state, in short, is exactly what I need to ask for, and to think about my spiritual state as little as possible, almost not at all.

I need to think that only I need to love the friends, and not that they should love me. How they relate to each other and to me, I need to see as prompts for me to pray for my own inner change in everything in which I see a flaw in the love of friends.

But that wasn’t the correct answer, but rather a misconception one has, that He can communicate directly with the Creator, without the modem called the Kabbalistic group. This isn’t lonely at all, but a richer existence. One expands beyond the boundaries of his skin to feel true life, spiritual life!

Without thinking too much about it, I should relate everything as coming from the Creator WHILE treating each one in my life as they deserve according to the regular laws of our reality. It’s not that I forgive people or give to people BECAUSE the Creator does everything. I relate to them as if there’s no Kabbalah WHILE internally I accept that everything comes from the Upper Force and that He is Good and Does Good.

Knowing my friends’ needs is the prerequisite for connection. Because without this, I can’t bestow to them. I know what their needs are by integration (hitkalelut) with their desires.

    Hi Vince,

It’s possible you’re right, and it’s possible you made an incorrect inference based on hearsay. You said “past depression.” If one is depressed now, he needs to look after his mental health first. Any serious spiritual path requires a foundation of mental health. There are professionals who handle this medically and therapeutically.

As for being here for a year and a half – this isn’t learning how to ride a bike. This is ascending above this world, and all the feelings and sensations in it, holding all of that, but ascending above it. It’s not simple, but it is up to the student, and the judgement is within the person. Did he really give 100% each moment. After the required exertion, he succeeds.
