    Hi Naomi,

All your saying is valid. Of course there are some unscrutinized things still. But “all is clarified in thought” and you’re starting to do that. In thinking and thinking about the friends, the connection, we’re actually scrutinizing the desire. Or, we can say that we’re opening ourselves to the Light to scrutinize our desire.

    A couple answers:

The disputes with the friends – the main thing is to notice it and rise above it, without erasing it. Because we are incompatible because we’re all unique, special, irreplaceable. There’s no way we can have something in common other than mundane things of this world. I need to thus work to value each friend’s approach, wishing to take it as-is, as perfect, in gmar tikkun already. There is room for each of them to fill my heart up, and for their spiritual inclinations to control my heart. Then I’ll discover that these are actually my spiritual desires that were cut off from me. This is how we become one system, one man in one heart.

About making up your mind. I can make up my mind about anything but I should try. The reason I can’t is because the mind is an upshot of the desire and in the next moment the Creator will open a new broken desire in me, and in that desire I won’t agree to spiritual correction. That’s why I need to fill my group with all the loving spiritual nutrients I can, so that it will awaken me from my new, broken state, and I won’t take a long time to return to the correct work. This way I avoid a long unpleasant process of correction.

Impossible to update with the times as the times will change in ways that are to us as yet unimaginable. This is not talking about our world at all, except that the words used are familiar to students because there is a root and branch relationship between the forces that exist in the Upper World and the objects we perceive in our reality. In that Upper, eternal reality that existed before we fell into our perception of this world, and will exist as-is after our world disappears, as in a dream one was having, the Partzuf Abba (father, in translation) exists structurally above the mother on the one hand, while on the other hand he has no function or purpose or value in the system without Ima (mother), the Partzuf below her, and through Aba, the Light passes to Ima, and Ima passes it to lower Parzufim (spiritual vessels). Therefore, the times can change but these structures never change but remain as the order and structure that each and every person will find in their inevitable ascent up the spiritual ladder to the root of their soul. The examples can’t change either as they are such that they can be grasped at the level of our world, but later one discovers that they were eternal truths.

49 gates you have in every degree.

In short, I need to ask the Creator for everything, while trying to make actions; the efforts are upon me, the actual spiritual actions are up to Him, as I can’t even imagine what they truly are.

    Hi Molly,

You don’t need to jump to fulfilling this tenet in your daily life. Because there’s a force called Upper Light that does have the power to bring us to see the whole world through a different lens. It’s not a psychological twist or something. It’s another previously non-existent sense. Like a snake that can suddenly hear a symphony as we do. Then we’ll see all the parts of reality as the bass, drums, marimba, violin, etc. On their own, I didn’t understand why they’re needed – like just tasting the salt if a dish by itself. But when this lens lets me feel and see the whole, all will be in perfection – always was. We just need to advance simply, and quickly towards the goal of life and it will be revealed.

Julia, we’re not opponents. In fact, I don’t consider any question directed at a particular individual. There are a range of possible questions that students have along the way to the spiritual goal, and each students goes through them in their own way. Therefore, each answer is directed at all students who might read them. Whoever reads it, the answer will be true for them. According to Kabbalists, we’re all the desire to receive, like a certain computer model, and it’s construction is universal – though the Point in the Heart that is next to this desire to receive, is unique. So there’s nothing personal here, nothing directed to you as an individual.
