  • Hi Niklas,

Yes, that’s what is meant by ascents and descents, in principle. Just as you described. There is always somewhere in a person the Point in the Heart, and it’s a sensor precisely for the wisdom that talks about the ascent to the Upper World because this Point fell from there. There is always a more dominant part in a person that wants to remain without spiritual advancement, like an animal, which can remain generation after generation for another billion years. If a cow has water and grass, it needs no further development. You see how some of the monkeys remain on their trees now, millions of years after we came down from them. So, also within a person, there’s always a part that knows there is only one thing this world is for, and that is to use this world to reach the Upper World.

    Hi Esther,

Exactly. We perceive according to how we are. If we perceive a change on the outside, it’s because we changed somehow on the inside. The fact that we see no correlation – of course this is because the linkage is concealed. It is as one Kabbalist wrote, “Every day I have a new Creator.” It’s because as you change, it’s as though The Creator changes. But it is written, “I the Lord do not change.” All the changes we perceive in the Upper Light, all the names of the Creator, where names are the ways of attaining Him, are only the changes in our Kli. “There is no light without a Kli,” it is written. So NO Light. And we’re missing the Kli entirely for now. As we develop this Kli, so does the perception of the Upper Force, and all the spiritual degrees are the development of the Kli and the corresponding revelations of the Upper Force within it.

    Hi Esther,

The reason you can’t explain how it feels to have a Restriction, Screen, and Reflected Light (Tzimzum, Masach, Ohr Hozer) is that it doesn’t feel like anything that a person has experienced. What have we experienced of the goal of Creation, which is to feel unbounded delight, pleasure, and tranquility? We have only been, our whole lives, on the way to different pleasures which, as we’re about to receive one of them, the Light, meaning all the hoped-for fulfilment, evaporates. And that’s because by our nature we want to receive without any reason for reception other than it’s good for us. We don’t want to account for the Source of the pleasure except insofar as we must use them in order to get the pleasure. Our attitude is like this towards others around us of course, and so the real Source, the Upper Light is concealed. So, to develop the Tzimzum, we have to change this attitude – and we can’t change it, the Reforming Light that we draw during the study of the wisdom of Kabbalah has to make these changes. It seems like just changing our attitude can’t alter reality but it’s because our attitude, in the parameter that matters, is ever in one direction – reception. That’s why it seems not powerful, but this inner change can literally move mountains. If this point in our attitude changes, we’ll see a totally different reality. If I just want to receive, they will keep showing me this one; when I will want to not receive unless it’s to bestow back to the Upper Force, the spiritual world starts opening up immediately.

    Hi Petero,

The whole wisdom, even the parts we think we understand, we do not, since they speak of a hidden world with totally foreign laws and phenomena. Therefore, we study for the Reforming Light to change our qualities, and the more it does, the more we’ll start feeling, like a baby in a womb as it’s organs develop starts sensing something beyond the womb, we’ll start sensing the hidden world.

Exactly, Petero! The Creation is in that the Creator makes something opposite to Him. Do you want to say that since the Creator is in fact ruler, Malchut is similar in that she wants to rule, as well? In this, yes, she is exactly like the Creator, except totally the opposite! Like a seal and imprint. His rulership is in that all of Creation is for another, and He governs it such that all the good will come to the other; and Malchut wants to govern such that she grabs the reigns from the Creator and uses all of Creation in order to receive, and she even has this addition that she knows of the Creator’s love and wants to use that to rule over Him.

    Hi Cathy,

All was created in a single Thought, above time and space. The way it unfolds is in relation to us who need to change, from reception to bestowal, and need to do so willingly, by free choice, which is why the Thought, which is in a single Point, not even a “verse” as you said, but a single no-volume Point, seems to spread out into many time-states.
